Baseball Quotes

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America is ruled by it like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again. Oh, people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come. -Terence Mann (James Earl Jones-Field of Dreams)

Every day is a new opportunity.  You can build on yesterday's success or put it's failures behind and start over again.  That's the way life is, with a new game everyday, and that's the way baseball is. -Bob Feller

When I was coming up, I just wanted to play baseball and I'm doing what I love to do most.  How can I feel pressure doing what I love to do?-Miguel Cabrera
