MI Lawmen end the 2009 season as the #2 ranked team in the East Coast

The 2009 Michigan Lawmen

The Lawmen started their 2009 season by playing in Vegas In March at the Vegas Baconball.  AFter a long winter, it took a bit to get the cobwebs out.  The Lawmen took 9th.

In May, the Lawmen traveled to VA Beach with a skeletal team.  But this did not hinder the MI Lawmen team.  There was no doubt in anyones mind that weekend that the Lawmen were ready to play ball.  They went 7 - 0, winning by the mercy run rule each game.

In June, the Lawmen again traveled with a skeletal team and again showed the Police softball community what they are made of.  The MI Lawmen took 4th out of 18 teams.

In July, the Lawmen traveled to Dayton Ohio for the National Police Softball Championship where they took 5th out of 18 teams.

In August, the Lawmen continued to show the Police Softball circuit what they are made of by winning the Wouters/Sawyers 2009 USSSA Police World Series.

In October, the Lawmen traveled to Palm Springs for the World Series.  They tied with Socal for 7th place, playing with numerous injuries in the high hot temperatures.  The Lawmen finished the 2009 season ranked 2nd in the East Coast.
