The Orleans Bandits crowned champions of the Nepean Tournament
The Bandits were faced with some real tough competition this weekend when they participated in their second tournament of the season. In their round robin games, the Bandits tied 2 games vs teams from Osgoode and Nepean and won their 3rd game vs a team from Almonte. The bandits cumulated enough points to earn a place in the semi-finals where they were faced by another team from Nepean. After a hard fought battle, the Bandits came out victorious and moved on to the finals where they would have a rematch against Almonte. The final game was a real nail biter as the decisive goal came in the third minute of the second overtime period. With this win, the Bandits have now claimed 2 championships so far this year.

Bandits take home Temiskaming Championship
The Orleans Bandits (Midget A2) participated in a tournament this weekend in the Temiscaming area. The Bandits were faced with tough competition but went undefeated in their 3 round robin games vs teams from Val-D'or, Rouyn-Noranda and LaSarre. The bandits went on to win their semi-final game by a score of 2-1 vs New Liskeard and moved on to play a final game vs Amos. The Bandits wrapped it all up with a well deserved win by the score of 4-1. Congratulation to the Bandits for a successful and fun weekend!!
