Vistas Shut Out West Fargo!

Kris Winkels pitched the Vistas past West Fargo by the score of 6-0. Kris gave up 4 hits and K'd 8 West Fargo hitters. It was a great team effort. The win moves the Vistas into a matchup with the Bismarck Govs on Friday night starting at 7:00. The winner of this game will move into the championship game on Sunday.

Vistas down Jamestown in opening round

Behind a strong pitching performance from Ben Magnuson the Minot Vistas defeated Jamestown 10 to 5 in opening round action of the ND State Legion Baseball Tournament. Ben went 7 innings and gave up 3 runs while reliever John Melom pitched the 8th and 9th innings giving up 2 runs.
The Vistas were lead offensively by Jarid Hoffman 2-3, Dan Himmerick 2-4, Darin Back 3-4, Jordan Rubbelke 3-4 and Trevor Gust who went 3-5.

The Bismarck Govs defeated the Minot Vistas on Sunday 10-1 to claim the West Region Tournament Championship. The Vistas will now open the state tournament with the #3 Seed from the East Jamestown.
