UNDER ARMOUR 7 ON 7 & FOOTBAL/CHEER CLINIC
What is it? In partnership with Under Armour, NorCal A.Y.F. is hosting the 1st Annual 7 on 7 youth football passing tournament and Football & Cheer Technique Clinic. A fun filled day for the entire family and free admission.
What will I receive for my 7v7 team fee? Each team will receive 2 Under Armour t-shirts for each player (black/white). There is a maximum of 12 players’ per roster. Each coach will receive an Under Armour polo and hat (a maximum of 3 coaches are allowed on the sideline). There will be trophies awarded for the Champion & Runner-up teams along with medals for the players.
What is the format of the 7v7 tournament? Maximum of 16 teams (8 teams per age group). Teams will include ages, RED Division (11, 12 & 13) and Blue Division (13, 14, & 15). Participants must be under the age of 16 as of 6/1/11. All players are to be listed on a completed roster along with a California State ID/School ID at check –in time.
What is the Football Technique Clinic? The clinic is for boys and girls ages 5-15 focused on teaching offense and defense positions, football drills and physical fitness training for the development of our youth athletes. Each participant will receive a camp shirt and participation awards. We are accepting the first 100 participants with payment in full by Saturday; May 21, 2011.
What is the Cheer & Dance Clinic? The clinic is for boys and girls ages 5-15 will be focused on teaching cheer motions, jumps, sideline cheers and a dance. Each participant will receive a camp shirt and a cheer gift. A Crowd performance immediately following the cheer clinic. We are accepting the first 100 participants with payment in full by Saturday; May 21, 2011.

Recycle, Reduce and Reuse… Mira Loma Jr Matadors Youth Football & Cheer will be in your area to pick up recyclable items. Our goal is to raise funds for the youth in the community. With your help we can make a child’s dream a reality.
The Mira Loma Jr. Matadors (MLJM) is a 501 (C3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services to youth in the Sacramento County area. The focus of the MLJM is to help our youth achieve athletic and academic success, to build skills needed to become a responsible individual, to experience the thrill and excitement of being part of a team, while encouraging dedication and commitment to our community.
On April 30th from 9:00-1:00pm the members of Mira Loma Jr. Matadors will pick up your generous donations from your home. Please place your items in the driveway and labeled MLJM. It is not necessary for anyone to be home. Simply, leave the items in the driveway in a visible location and one of our dedicated volunteers will pick up your recycle items. We are picking up all e-waste, TV's, Appliances, CVR, batteries, Metals. Per Sacramento County, all materials must be placed in the driveway not the street or sidewalk no later than 9am. Pick up times are 9-1pm. Acceptable items are as follows: CA redemption value-cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles. Scrap metal items-copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, tin, unwanted iron, electrical wires and cords, and car batteries, electric motors. E-Waste materials-computer monitors and towers, cell phones, televisions, vcr’s, stereo equipment. 2011 Mira Loma Jr Matadors football Coach’s clinic
Mira Loma Jr Matadors will be providing a football coaches clinic. The first coach clinic on April 29, 2011 will be in coordination with Mira Loma High school coaching staff to better help coaches understand offense and defense we will be running as well as answer any questions and offer any tips on the art of coaching. The second clinic is on May 11, it will be an in-class clinic where Mira Loma Jr Matadors coaches will concentrate on player development, team development and as well as coaching/parent relationship skills. The last two clinic dates: May 12 & 13 will be on the field training to teach proper technique to coaches.

The MLJM would like to thank Sports Authority for donating over 100 pairs of cleats. This donation will be part of our scholarship program for those who need it most. We are accepting applications now and until the first week of practice. Practice will be held at Mira Loma High School from 6-8pm
Players: White T-Shirt (write last name on the back), athletic shorts, running shoes, water bottle and no jewelry.
