Welcome to the home of the MIRA MESA CHARGERS. The Mira Mesa Youth Football and Cheer Association (MMYFC) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community of Mira Mesa and other surrounding communities since 1976. We are a member of the San Diego Youth Football and Cheer Conference and the American Youth Football League. Our participants are boys and girls ages 5 - 15.
It is our mission to provide a safe and positive environment to teach the fundamentals of the sports of football and cheer. In doing so the Association and its members will instill in each participant the principles of dedication, hard work, community, honesty, scholastic achievement and sportsmanship.

Saturday, 2/11 at the MMYFC Office. Our office is located at
9245 Dowdy Dr, Suite 103, San Diego CA 92126
Dowdy Dr is off Miramar Rd
Registration fee is $150
Please bring the following:
BIRTH CERTIFICATE (2 COPIES)
PROOF OF MEDICAL INSURANCE
CURRENT REPORT CARD (2 COPIES)
A PICTURE OF CHILD WILL BE TAKEN
Divisions are:
FRESHMEN DIV. - Grades 1 – 2
SOPHMORE DIV. - Grades 3 – 4
JUNIOR DIV. - Grades 5 – 6
SENIOR DIV. - Grades 7 – 8
All divisions are UNLIMITED WEIGHT.
Equipment Distribution will be on Sat, 2/11, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Practices will be every Tuesday and Friday at the Mira Mesa Rec Center
from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm. First day of practice will be on 2/14.
Games will be every Saturday. First game will be on 3/24. Last game will be on 5/19.
There is no game on 4/7. Games are approximately 1 hour long.
