2017-2018 Winter Camps

 Boys & Girls Ages 6 to 14 Years Old

 Week 1: 3 days Cost $120  Date(s): Wed. Dec. 27th to Fri Dec. 29th, 2017

  Week 2: 4 days Cost $150  Date(s): Tues. Jan. 2nd to Fri Jan. 5th, 2018

 Times: 9am to 4pm (extended hours available 8am to 5pm – $5/day option)

  Beginner to ‘AA’ calibre players welcome

This camp is open to Boys and Girls from the ages of 6-14 and will give all participants the opportunity to work on their baseball/softball skills under the guidance of Certified Coaches and current MNBA Rep Players. Players will be grouped together based on skill level.

Each weekly camp will also consist of movies, crafts, games and other activities that will be sure to entertain your child during the cold winter school break.

**Players must bring their own Lunch for each day as well as any drinks needed.

There will be an option for a Friday Pizza Lunch (details will be provided prior to the Friday)

Required for the above weekly camps (Not supplied):
  • Lunch for each day of the camp (option for Friday Pizza Lunch – additional charge)
  • Water or drinks
  • Baseball Glove, Batting Helmet, Athletic Protection (Jock for Boys, Jill for Girls)
  • Closed toe Athletic or Running Shoes (Rubber Cleats are not necessary)

 This program, designed by a certified NCCP MNBA coach teaches an introduction to fundamentals of Baseball for ages 4 to 6 years old.  Players learn the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, catching, followed by an indoor T-Ball game. The focus will be on having fun and learning the game!!


 Boys & Girls Ages 7 to 14 Years Old

 Sessions:  Every Saturday for 8 weeks | Cost  $125
Date(s):  Sat. Jan. 6th to Sat. Feb. 24th, 2018
Times:
 11 am to 12 pm
Location:  MNBA Indoor training Centre, 7275 Rapistan Court, Miss. ON L5N 5Z4

 This program, designed by a certified NCCP MNBA coach, teaches the proper fundamentals of Baseball for ages 7 to 14 years old. Players will be grouped by age & skill level. Players learn the mechanics of hitting, throwing, pitching, catching and conditioning through drills designed to teach fundamental baseball skills.

OBJECTIVES OF MISSISSAUGA NORTH BASEBALL ASSOCIATION

 

Mississauga North Baseball Association has contributed over  45 years of service to the Mississauga area. Over the years, our name has changed, but our objectives never have. 

Our mandate is to foster, promote and teach amateur baseball/softball to all eligible individuals without regard to race, creed, colour, sex, religion or national origin. To develop community spirit and encourage sportsmanship and good fellowship among all eligible individuals and participate to the betterment of their physical, mental and social well being. To accomplish this, the league shall endeavour to provide coaching, equipment, skill evaluation and development, and other necessary resources to enable each child to have the opportunity to play to the highest level of their ability.
