MSBL – MIDDLETOWN SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Coaches,
It is with great regret that due to our conflicting work schedules and the Middletown Parks and Recreation regulation that 80% of all participants in the league MUST now be from Middletown, we will not be running a summer basketball league. Bob Boettger and I would like to thank everyone who has participated in our Middletown Summer Basketball League because it was your effort and commitment that made it a success. We would also like to thank Melissa Wisk, Dianne Clagett, and Ellen Duda for letting us use Mother Teresa’s gym and also JoAnne Klem, Mike Ruggerio, and Bobby Delfino for letting us use St. Catherine’s gym when it rained. We would also like to give a special thanks to Middletown Parks and Recreation and especially Ben Curci who always helped us get the courts we needed so over 500 boys and girls could enjoy outdoor summer basketball.
It was a great experience for Bob and I, and we hope you all got as much joy out of the league as we did!
Thank you,
Tim Mulhern Bob Boettger
