WE would like to thank all players for their commitment over the last several weeks. We hope you have all learned something new on your road to becoming better players.
Any Coach will tell you that this is the hardest part of the job and as we said there are only 12 slots on the team and 21 players vying for those positions. If you were not selected it was partly in your best interest. It may not feel this way at the moment but spending the next year in-house and continuing to develop your baseball skills and to grow in maturity & physical strength is in your best interest. We have three players on the Diamond League Team this year that were released from the 2009 Team last season, so this shows that hard work and perseverance will pay off and this is no were near the end of the road for any of you. Thank you again for your dedication in the past several weeks and have a great in-house season.
If you were not selected for the Diamond League Team, you must report to in-house evaluations held at the Muhlenberg Intermediate School Gym on Saturday, March 20th. 11 year-olds should report at 2pm and 12 year-olds should report at 3pm. These times and dates are also listed on the MTAA website on the baseball/softball page.
Congratulations to those of you that have been selected for the Team. We have a short amount of time to prepare for opening day and the hard work will just be beginning. We all look forward to working with you and building a Brand New Team for 2010.
