OPENING DAY IS HERE!!!
With opening day just a few days away, the NABA looks quite promising as many new talented faces will be making their debut sunday. In Pepper Park, the NABA welcomes the Kendall Metz as they host the Miramar Twins at 9:30. The Twins who came up just short in making it to the Championship have reportedly added some pitching prospects that have the clubhouse quite excited about the new season. Their added players should definately compliment their high powered offense which puts on a display every season. The Metz, managed by Coach Cabrera look forward to the challenge in a familiar league in which some have played for in past seasons. With a few draft picks the Metz will seek to make a name for themselves for years to come. The Miami Marlins have revamped their squad and added some talented depth around the league as they look to contend this season. They host the 2012-13 Fall/Winter Champions, Plantation Phillies at 9:30am in Floyd Hull Stadium. Even though the Phils won, they are not content and have added a few key players from around South Beach who seeked better competition and managerial experience on sundays. = ) The afternoon game in Floyd Hull will feature the runners-up from last season, Carol City Astros as they take on the Coral Springs Braves. After a dissapointing lost in Game 3, the Astros look to bounce back. The Braves, known for their scrappiness and baseball iq, will look to continue to be one of the premier teams in the NABA guided by the leadership of Coach Bargar.
