Nasty Habits Own the Wednesday Night TI League
November 7, 2007: The Nasties took down rival Demo Five in the final Wednesday night Championship. The game came down to the last inning and ended with the home team Nasty Habits winning 21 - 19. With the win, the Nasties win their first I9 league championship, but nevertheless, it will not be their last. The team will be back in full force and ready to avenge their title in February.
Nasty Habits - How the name came about
One night, Dave and Mark Sartain decided to go rent a movie. They both found one that had the title "NASTY RABBITS". They decided to enter the name into a Houston Chronicle Softball Tournament.
One day, Dave and Mark were reading the paper and noticed that they had printed the game results with their team name as the " NASTY HABITS". The name just kind of stuck. They have been using it ever since.
We are forever grateful to be a part of the "NASTY HABITS".
