Welcome to NCSC

Nature Coast Soccer Club is a local Citrus County youth soccer club with players of all ages playing the game recreationally or on competitive travel teams. Children can start playing at age 4 and play until 15 years of age on the recreational side, and up to 18 on the competitive side. All games are held at Central Ridge District Park on well-maintained fields with dedicated Coaches. Our recreational season generally runs from November to February with games held each Saturday. The competitive season is as follows: for Seniors (U15-U19), August through October, and Juniors (U10-U14), October through March.

Mission Statement

Nature Coast Soccer Club of Central Florida is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is focused on the development of youth soccer for all levels and ages. Our club stresses the importance of sportsmanship, physical, mental, and emotional growth for our participants. Our goal is to make the game of soccer fun and to instill a lifelong passion for the sport.

Recreational League

     Registration for the 2014-2015 season has ended. BUT still looking for U11/12 and U15/16 players!

Partial refunds of $30 are available on or before October 25th (one week prior to Jamboree/Picture Day).

U6 Academy Night will be Wednesdays, with U8 on Mondays. NEW THIS YEAR U-9 Elite Academy. More training (Wednesday nights), more games, another jersey. More info here.

Competitive Update

   USA (United Soccer Association) 2014-2015 SCHEDULE.

Coach "E" License: Scheduled October 10th through 12th at CRHS. Register online here.

JUNIOR season begins October 18th (schedules LOCKED 10/5).

GK training on Wednesday nights with Trainer Keith Malz - Resumes Wednesday, August 20th! U9-U13 from 5-6pm, U14 and up 6-7pm. FREE for all comp and rec keepers.

Guest Playing Policies & Procedures - See 'Forms' on the left. *USA no longer allows guest players to be handwritten in on the game card, they now must be pre-printed as club pass players. This is done at the club level, usually by the registrar or other club designated person.*

Players who do not fulfill their financial obligations in a timely manner will be placed into 'Not in Good Standing' with FYSA by the Club.

U8 Girls Summer Academy

Soccer trainer Keith Malz, Coach Maryellen Greene (Lee University) and current player Lizzie Rinaldi (Nova University) will be offering free training this summer for U8 girls. The clinics are for girls in Citrus county with birth dates 8/1/06 through 7/31/08.

 

All training will take place at the Lecanto school complex on W Educational Path. The field is on the right just as you round the basketball courts. Times are 6PM-7PM. All players must wear shin guards and have water or sports drink.

 

Dates: Mondays - September 8, 15, 22 and 29

Board of Directors/Volunteers

We are looking for somone to help with the fields NOW. Contact Randy Adams, President, at 352.697.3446 if you can volunteer your time.

If you would like to learn more about general volunteer opportunities, contact our Club Secretary, Janel Gaffney, at janelgray19@hotmail.com,or speak to any Board member at the fields on Saturdays or at practices.
 
The board generally meets on the third Friday evening of each month, and determines the path that the Club will take in providing the best possible playing experience for our children. Any member of the Club is welcome to attend any monthly meeting. As volunteerism is vital to the success of our Club, you are encouraged to give any amount of time that you can, whether by filling a seat on the board or simply by helping out from time to time.
