Nature Coast Soccer Club is a local Citrus County youth soccer club with players of all ages playing the game recreationally or on competitive travel teams. Children can start playing at age 4 and play until 15 years of age on the recreational side, and up to 18 on the competitive side. All games are held at Central Ridge District Park on well-maintained fields with dedicated Coaches. Our recreational season generally runs from November to February with games held each Saturday. The competitive season is as follows: for Seniors (U15-U19), August through October, and Juniors (U10-U14), October through March.

Nature Coast Soccer Club of Central Florida is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is focused on the development of youth soccer for all levels and ages. Our club stresses the importance of sportsmanship, physical, mental, and emotional growth for our participants. Our goal is to make the game of soccer fun and to instill a lifelong passion for the sport.
In-person registration dates have been scheduled. All THREE forms available on the left. Cost stays the same at $80, $85 online, with discounts for siblings.

Parks & Rec SUMMER CLINICS with Coach Keith Malz
U8 Summer Academy 2014
Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8pm. Runs from June 3rd through September 11th. For both boys and girls.
$3 per session per player... pay as you go and only for sessions you attend.
"FUN" starting with a few skills activities then moving into small-sided games. Get touches on the ball!
Lead by DOC Mike Penn, Asst. DOC (Rec) Devin Wilkinson, Coach Amanda Luider and Coach Greg Schell.
U8 Girls Summer Academy
Soccer trainer Keith Malz, Coach Maryellen Greene (Lee University) and current player Lizzie Rinaldi (Nova University) will be offering free training this summer for U8 girls. The clinics are for girls in Citrus county with birth dates 8/1/06 through 7/31/08.
All training will take place at the Lecanto school complex on W Educational Path. The field is on the right just as you round the basketball courts. Times are 6PM-7PM. All players must wear shin guards and have water or sports drink.
Fridays - July 12 and 26
Mondays - August 4, 11, 18 and 25
Mondays - September 8, 15, 22 and 29
If you have been notified that your child has been accepted on a Nature Coast Lightning team and you have not registered for the team, please contact Donna Belanger, Competitive Registrar, immediately at 352.601.6228 to ensure that your child will be eligible to play. This goes especially for SENIOR team players as teams must be registered by July 1st.
We have 5 comp teams this season - U10B, U10G, U16B Gold, U16B Blue & U18B. Refer to the 'Comp Schedules/Results' tab on left for coach contact information.
USA Team Registration deadlines: July 1st for SR & August 1st for JR.
USA Coach Meetings: July 19th for SENIORS, August 16 for JUNIORS U11-U14 & August 23rd for JUNIORS U9-U10.
SENIOR season begins August 9th, followed by JUNIORS on October 18th.
GK training on Friday nights with Coach Keith - On hold for now.

Players who do not fulfill their financial obligations in a timely manner will be placed into 'Not in Good Standing' with FYSA by the Club.

The board generally meets on the third Friday evening of each month, and determines the path that the Club will take in providing the best possible playing experience for our children. Any member of the Club is welcome to attend any monthly meeting. As volunteerism is vital to the success of our Club, you are encouraged to give any amount of time that you can, whether by filling a seat on the board or simply by helping out from time to time.
