Brauers Recruiting for the 2010 Season!
November 17, 2009 - 03:07 PM
The Neenah Brauers are looking for 'a few good men'. We're hoping to get a volunteer or two to assist the team during home games to help run the scoreboard. Are you interested? If so, please contact Casey Pavich.
Welcome to the home of your Neenah Brauers!
Welcome, and thanks for checking out our site! The Neenah Brauers are one of the recent expansion teams in the NEW MSBL (Northeast Wisconsin Mens Senior Baseball League) and we can't wait for spring so we can get our spikes dirty. If you're ever free on a Sunday afternoon, stop on by and see one of our games - we'd really appreciate your support. And stick around after for a few delicious cold ones from Bud Light! Be sure to use Aloha Taxi for your safe ride home!
Now, a little about the team.....the Brauers are heavily inspired by the Milwaukee Brewers and are made up of mainly 30-somethings from the Fox Valley. We all have some sort of a baseball background, some more than others. We'd like to say we have a few former TimberRattlers (A-Rod and Big Papi) on our team, but we can't - we're a bunch of friends having a great time playing hardball again. Our main goal is to go out on Sunday afternoons and have a good (and competitive) time playing old-school, wooden bat, fast-pitch baseball.
In 2009, the Brauers went 7-10 on the regular season and 1-2 in the playoffs - not bad for an expansion team!
Player statistics can be found on the 'Roster' link to the left - so feel free to click it to find out more about 'your Neenah Brauers'.
We hope to see you at the ballpark!
