What a great weekend of baseball...we had a bit of everything with the weather; extreme heat...rain...wind...thunder & lightning (unfortunately a little too much!).
The kids were on fire with the bats, outscoring their opponents 32-3 while only playing 17 innings.
Would have been nice to complete the final game with Corvallis, but the way we were hitting and the way John was throwing, they got off easy!!
SALEM TOURNEY --2nd PLACE
What an incredible weekend of baseball in Salem. 5 wins, 1 loss -coming in the championship game. OUTSTANDING!! Great team and individual performances abound...these kids are having fun together, playing loose and just enjoying the game...THEY ARE FUN TO WATCH!
Congratulations to Jordan for bringing home the MVP of the weekend. He was 7-13, with an on base percentage of .800 (16-20), 4 RBI's and 6 SB's.

Congratulations Team! 3rd place finish on a very hot summer weather weekend. Was very encouraging to see the boys come back out on Sunday and play hard and never get down or discouraged. They looked like they were having fun, something that had been missing to this point.
Thanks to all for your hard work in making the tournament successful. I am looking forward to the next one in June.
