About the NHBL38

The New Hampshire Baseball League (NHBL) is an adult recreational wood bat baseball league for players who are atleast (or will be) 38 years old during the calendar.

Each year we try to improve by adding quality teams, new fields, and individual players to those currently in the league. It is our goal to provide players with the opportunity to participate in a highly competitive league while still maintaining a social and friendly atmosphere.

All regular-season games are played on weekends, mostly on Sundays. Exceptions may be made for games rescheduled due to rainouts. Games are generally not played on holiday weekends.

The league offers its players the chance to rekindle their youth with the chance to have some fun in the sun. Sometimes in New England this fun is had under clouds, drizzle and maybe even a passing shower. However, on a few Sundays over the summer the weather is just perfect and the stress of everyday work life is removed for a few hours so you can throw and hit a ball with your teammates.

In 2016, the NHBL became an non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and during the Fall, the NHBL holds it's annual "Robert Daigle ALS Golf Tournament" and league banquet to benefit local charities.

On Sunday, the Bisons secured the NHBL Championship with an instant classic 1-0 win over the upstart IronPigs at historic Holman Stadium (Nashua, NH).

Both teams traded 0's for 8-1/2 innings before Bisons came through with a 2-out series clinching hit in the bottom of the ninth inning.

It was a great pitching duel between the Bisons' Chris LaRose and the IronPigs' Cesar Reyes.
