Spring 2010 Election Forms Due
Parents!! This is a reminder that all election forms for Spring 2010 are due by Saturday, 11/7. You will need to decide whether your child wishes to return to her team/coach for Spring 2010 play; Become a Free Agent and enter the draft for Spring 2010 play; or indicate your daughter is not returning to NHO. All fees must be paid in full for Option #1 or #2 elections by Saturday and the special rate of $45 is in effect until Saturday. After that date, players will be dropped from rosters completely unless arrangements have been made with Betty Neuweg @ 568-9452. Forms and payments may be returned to the NHO concession stand each night or to a board member on Saturday. Thank you for your participation at NHO. We are glad to have you here!

NHO Board Changes
The North Hays County Optimist Foundation Board is pleased to announce some changes effective 6/1/09.
Terri Richter has resigned as the NHO Baseball President to take on the Optimist Board position of Vice-President. She will serve in a dual role as President of the newly established NHO Softball Board.
Replacing Terri as the President of NHO Baseball is Aaron Hanson. Aaron has served the Program for over two years as the VP for Baseball and is ready to take on the new challenges.
Persons interested in serving within the softball program should contact Terri. There are many opportunities for involvement from small tasks to large projects - you decide how much time you have to give and we will give you something to do with your time!

Welcome to the Home for Girls at NHO!
Girls softball is important to us at NHO! All of the girls have the best opportunity to play in a fun and enriching environment. We want to teach our girls to be the very best both on and off the field.
You are now part of one of the largest (and best) youth softball leagues in central Texas.
Fall 2009 Coaching
The best sport on the planet deserves the best coaching on the planet, right?! We need you! Drastic growth in the softball program has created a demand for experienced coaching. Interested candidates should fill out a coaching application which can be found in the Online Forms section of the website. Coaches will participate in the NHO Coaches Academy beginning soon.
Sponsors Needed!
Local business owner wanting to get involved in the youth of the community? Sponsoring a team is a great way to create a partnership with the entire organization! NHO could not provide the programs without corporate support like yours. It is what enables us to keep registration fees low and allows us to focus on teaching the kids how to play the game.
What's in it for you? Exposure to thousands of eyes throughout the year. Softball sponsorships are available in several "sizes". Please see the Handouts section for the Information Letter, Sponsor Ladder and Commitment Forms.
We are also seeking a title sponsor for our website. This sponsor will be a Year-Round Sponsor in addition to being the headliner banner on the website through for the next year. Banners provide an opportunity for click-through advertising and gain exposures not only to the participants but also their extended families and friends checking in on the season along with the many other visitors to our site seeking information on tournaments and special events.

It's a Busy Place to Be!
NHO is a hopping place to be these days! With all of the construction, improvements and activities, the normal "dead time of year" is anything but that! There is a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming softball season at NHO. The program is growing and changing and we could use your help. NHO is so pleased to announce that a Softball Board is being established to manage the program.
