NYBA Mission Statement NYBA is dedicated to providing the basic foundations of athletic instruction, individual and team development, and sportsmanship while participating in the competitive basketball environment of the CDYBL.
NYBA Membership The yearly membership of NYBA consists of approximately 50-60 players (4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th graders from the Niskayuna community) who make up the official rosters of the five (5) teams sponsored by NYBA, their parents or legal guardians as registered with NYBA, volunteers and respective Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches. Teams are selected in the early fall by a try-out process.
