We are a part of the New Jersey Insanity organization which is based out of Iselin, NJ. The ultimate goal of the NJ insanity's 14U black team is prepare each one of the girls for their high school careers and beyond. The Insanity Black is comprised of girls born in 1995 and 1996 from Middlesex County and surrounding areas. The team practices at the Iselin Athletic Association complex and competes in various qualifiers throughout the spring and summer. The team will compete in some 14U tournaments, but will mainly play in 16U PONY, USSSA, and NSA sanctioned tournaments, and 18U showcases. NJI will be attending the PONY nationals in Raleigh-Cary NC at the end of the summer. Our prospective schedule is listed below. Congratulations to the NJ Insanity Black for making it to the "Sweet sixteen" at the 2009 PONY Nationals. We are so incredibly proud of you! To win their bracket, the girls defeated to Long Island Bandits in ITB then went on to defeat the Pittsburg predators 1-0, the silver bullets, and beat the Hudson Valley Hurricanes twice to make it to the final sixteen teams. After making it into the "sweet sixteen", the girls played their fourth game of the day and lost 1-0 to Team TFS from North Carolina in an extremely well played game. We are SO Proud of you! Congratulations also to our 12U team who made it to the "elite eight" round of PONY Nationals!!!.
