Fall Ball got off to an exciting start yesterday in the Whitman Fall Ball League. The Pirates made up of mostly Rockland kids went 2-1 on the day. The Blue Majors team won 12-6, while the Gold Majors team dropped a 5-4 heartbreaker. The Green Farm division team posted a shut-out victory.

North River BC has partnered with JM Sports and owner Junior Medina. The NRBC will work with the JM Force program and use the facility for indoor training. Thank you so much Coach Medina.

North River Baeball and Coach Dolan have become reps for MaxBP. MaxBP is a California based company whose main product is a wiffle ball pitching machine. It is an outstanding product and we cannot wait for the Pirates to start hitting with it.

The North River Baseball Club will be running a Pitching Clinic on September 18th in Rockland..details to follow.

The clinic will be directed by Jason Tower - Assistant Baseball Coach at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Cost will be $20 per person and include a t-shirt.

Ages will be 8 - 15....and limited to first 30 players.

Former Rockland Cardinals players Jason Tower and Dave Dickerson will join the staff of the North River Baseball Club. Coach Tower (assistant coach at MIT)will be running the programs pitching clinics and lessons, while Coach Dickerson (assistant coach at Eastern Nazarene)will become the Head Coach of the 12U Pirates.

Coach Dolan (Weymouth) and Coach Liquori (Rockland) ran Bulldog Baseball Camp with the Rockland Youth Commission this past week. 42 kids down at the Spring Street Fields having a great time and learning the game of baseball.
