NORTH STAR CLASSIC TOURNAMENT - (Minneapolis, MN)

North Star Classic play suspended again at 3:05 pm. Play will resume at 4:30 with games in progress on available fields. Some games will be moved. All remaining pool play games will be 30 minute time limit.

Bracket games will be shortened to 50 minutes and may be moved to alternate fields at Northview. We will play under the lights tonight and move games to Sunday as needed.

2012 North Star Classic Information

TCGSL is hosting the 2012 GSWS and there WILL BE a 2012 North Star Tournament!
The tournament format will be pool play followed by a double elimination tournament.
We will host NAGAAA Open B, C and D.
If there is enough interest from ASANA teams, a women's division will also be offered.
Teams do not have to be members of NAGAAA or ASANA, but the tournament will use NAGAAA ratings to determine division placement.
Divisions with a large number of registrations may be split (i.e. C1/C2, D1/D2, etc.) to allow for better competition.
Online registration and roster submission is recommended to secure your team's spot in the 2012 tournament as the number of teams will be limited for 2012, this information will be posted when registration opens.

MISSION STATEMENT

North Star Classic is a softball tournament devoted to building friendships among gay men and women amateur athletes from around the world. Our mission is to bring gay athletes to Minneapolis-St Paul by offering a low cost, high quality softball tournament. We will personally work with supporters of the gay community while using fair business practices to create an environment that is intimate, safe and fun for everyone.
