Norwalk Pop Warner Mission Statement

Norwalk Pop Warner is a non-profit organization, that believes in putting first, the youth, academics, and giving youth an opportunity to express themselves athletically. The purpose of Norwalk Pop Warner Football & Cheer is to provide area youth with the opportunity to participate in an organized, supervised, safe and fun football program. The program’s goals are for youth to learn football fundamentals, teamwork, pride, discipline, leadership and good sportsmanship.

GOALS & PHILOSOPHY OF NORWALK POP WARNER FOOTBALL PROGRAM

Norwalk Pop Warner Football and Cheer is operated for the beneficial way of its youthful participants. The program’s philosophy is: athletics and academics go hand in hand. Norwalk Pop Warner  seeks to develop well rounded young men and women who not only learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also the importance of education, in an atmosphere conductive to developing sound mind, body and character and having fun along the way. The general objectives of Norwalk Pop Warner are to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed, or national origin, and to practice the ideas of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness. Norwalk Pop Warner strives to make the game fun for all boys and girls. The organization stresses learning lessons of value far beyond the playing or spirit days of the boys and girls involved, such as: self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership, and good sportsmanship. With such goals in mind, by providing an opportunity to participate in an organized, supervised environment with an emphasis on maximum safety and participation. Norwalk Pop Warner Football offers boys and girls a unique opportunity to participate in physical and mental activities that will enhance their lives.
