Each year we are fortunate to have more involvement from our NYSA families and it helps the league grow and stay successful. There are many opportunities to get involved if you would like more details feel free to ask.. Occasionally we will post events which we need help with but there are always opportunities to help during the season as well. Looking forward to another great season and hope you are too!
We are currently seeking someone to take over the office of Treasurer. This is a VITAL board position. Chuck has done a FANTASTIC job these last 2 years but sadly is stepping down. He is willing to work with and mentor the new treasurer to help in the transition. A financial background is not required but of course a plus. Those interested must have a clean background check and be responsible to handle the league's finances and present a financial report when requested by the board or at meetings.
We are also looking for committee members. These are non board positions.
We are hoping to build separate committees that would be responsible for the following
Concession stand (shopping, schedules, cleaning, coverage, etc)
Field maintenance (lining, trash, shed, nets/goals, etc)
Grants/Sponsorships (researching/applying for grants, contacting previous and potential sponsors, etc)
Fundraising (distribution and collection of materials/orders, coordination with vendors, etc)
We are looking forward to 2017 and planning several exciting events and look forward to seeing them come to life.
And we are hoping you will be a part of it!!
