Six Prospect league players signed to Maui and Hilo teams
April 30, 2013
The Pro Prospect league had (6) players signed to pro contacts last week to the Maui and Hilo Hawaii teams in the Pacific West Professional Baseball league. That brings our total to (12) players signed out of our league. RHP- Keith Demorgandie, LHP- Devin Ramirez, C- Tyler Krobetzky, SS - Glenn Walker, RHP- Matt Stropoli and RHP- Byron Munnich. Congrats to all of the players who will be starting their Pro careers.
 
Bryan Banes signs with Newark in the Can-Am League

The Waves LHP Bryan Banes has been signed by coach Gary Templeton with Newark in the Can-Am league for 2013. Banes took 2012 off to rehab after a stellar 2011 season going 10-4 in the Frontier league and was an All-Star that year. Congrats to Bryan!!

George Flores signed to Flyers in AWBL

The Pro scout league has another players signed to Independent ball after sending George Flores to the AWBL tryouts this last weekend. Flores had a great tryout and caught the eye of the Las Crucas coaching staff. Congrats to George!! Other Scout league players signed were LHP Devin Ramirez (Waves).

Waves lefty signed to Fargo Redhawks in American Association

The Waves ace "Gabriel Garcia" has been signed to the Fargo Redhawks professional team in the American Association for the 2013 season . Barry Moss who came out to take a look at Gabe made the move to get him signed. Gabe was signed that next week and will start his Pro career in May. Gabe was also approached by a Mets scout who attends our games and will sign him to play in the Mexico league before heading to Fargo. Congrats to Gabe!!

AJ Comaskey wins 1st game of the season

The Cannons won the 1st game of the Pro Scout League season by throwing (2) shutout innings with (4) k's. Comaskey a San Fransisico State graduate is looking to get signed to independent league ball in 2013 to start his pro career and this is the league to make that happen.

Scout league will use Mt. San Antonio College
The Pro scout league will use the very nice Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut CA. Located off the 57fwy and Grand Ave and is only 30 minutes from 405fwy. Team Easton will host 11 games there vs the rest of the league.

Former Major League player "Travis Denker" to play in scout league
December 28, 2012
Former SF giant "Travis Denker" will play in the Pro Scout league starting on Jan 27th until he leaves for Pro ball. Denker was drafted out of Brea Olinda HS and made it to the bigs in 2008 with the Giants and was traded to the Dodgers where he played AAA last year. Another talented player enters the Winter Scout league.

ATTENTION: We will hold a Winter league from Jan 27th til May 12th 2013. The players who enter the Prospects division will be players looking to get signed to independent ball in 2013. The Fullerton Flyers, Yuma Scorpions, North County Cannons and and other teams TBA will be looking for players out of this league. We encourage players to enter this league so they start their Pro career or continue it. This division is designed to help former college players get signed to the Professional level and to keep current pro's in shape during the winter. We have options for local and out of the area players. If players need housing we can set that up through local hotels in our area that we have deals with. We refer players to the Frontier League, American Association, Can-Am League, North American League and leagues over seas. Stats and news on top players will be sent to the Pro coaches to keep them updated. Players will be invited to Spring Training camps in May 2013.

Scout League starts Jan. 27th

The NABA Scout league will start Jan. 27th and is designed to get players signed to the new AWBL, United, Frontier, American Association, Can-Am and North American Leagues around the country. New independent league coming to So. Cal in May 2013. Fullerton Flyers, North County Cannons, Yuma Panthers and more teams to be announced will be looking to sign players to Spring Training in May 2013. Each position player will pay $340 and $200 for Pitchers for a (15)) game season. This is the best place for a player to be seen and get signed. Fees include uniforms and all other costs including umpire fees. All out of town players who need housing can get a discounts through our Hotels in the area.
Coaches and General Mangers will be attending games to possibly sign players to Spring Training games.

NABA is forming a 45+ Wood Bat league and is looking for players who want to play in this division. Contact us if you're interested in playing. Opening Day December 22nd. Saturday League.
The SCSI Scout team wins 2012 NABA World Championships
October 26, 2012

The SCSI Scout team won the NABA 18+ Wood Bat , Majors division in dynamic fashion by going (15) innings to beat the Minnesota Max bat team. Mark Samuelson hit a (3) run homer in the top of the 15th to put the game out of reach at 11-8. Coach Lehman had to come in and hold Max Bat in a back and fourth battle to get the win. Starter Jesse Smith was shutting out Max Bat into the 5th until he pulled his hamstring and had to be taken out of the game. This makes two years in a row the SCSI Scout team has won the AZ Tourney. Thank you to all of the players who helped bring home another ring.
SCSI Scout Team is 1st half Champions

The nations #1 team in the nation in 2011 won the NABA Orange County 1st half in their 1st season back. The 2nd half will start June 24th at University HS in Irvine at 10am. Any teams or players looking to get into a quality league please contact us.
Former Big League arm returns to the mound in NABA
April 7, 2012

Former Major League pitcher "Wes Littleton" is coming off of Tommy John surgery and is making his return with the NABA until he is signed again to a MLB contract. Littleton came out and was throwing 87-89mph from the side arm slot and looked really good. He once threw 94-97Mph and hopes to get back to the velocity soon. NABA welcomes Wes Littleton to the league.
NABA lands Cypress College baseball field
April 11, 2012

The NABA has locked in Cypress College and games will start this Sunday at 10am with Waves vs Team Victory and SCSI vs Blaze at 2pm. We worked hard to get this field so please respect the field when you are there. No smoking on school property and please use cups or bottles for your dip.
Parking:
School will ticket you so please park on the street to avoid getting one.

Opening night was a success

SCSI vs Waves:
Aric Weinburg (Pictured here) went 2 for 3 opening night against a Pro pitching staff. Waves pitcher Alex Casillas looked dominate with 5k's in 2 innings and topped out at 93Mph that night. Former Concordia College reliever "Steve Barrington" started for the SCSI Scout team and went 3 strong innings with 6k's and 2 earned. Scott Stidham, Justin Tellum and Jake Waldren all homered on opening night.
Blaze vs Victory:
The So. Cal Blaze showed their dominance on opening nigh with(3) pitchers who struck out (22) Victory batters. Starter "Mitch Maltby" threw (3) strong innings with (6)ks and only surrendered (1) run. Cypress College Red shirts "Patyon Lobdell and Blake Mitchell both were tapping 90mph both had (8)k's each to finish the game. With 48 people in the stands watching our talent level the word was "This is the place to play real baseball".
Elite Wood Bat division has (4) teams to start the season

The NABA OC has formed (4) solid teams to start their 2012 season on April 1st and each Sunday after. We will also be having some Friday night games at Teewinkle Park in Costa Mesa. After signing 8 players from our tryout on Sunday we were able to build a team called the Blaze and have added (4) more quality players to the squad to make it a very competitive team.

Team discount to Teams moving over from current league

The NABA will give teams who want to leave their current league a $300 discount off of the league fees as a thank you for moving over to NABA. We will also give a $100 referral credit off of your league fees if you refer us a team that enters the league. Looks like some leagues are changing their staff and adding games to compete with us which is great for the teams that decide to stay in the league. We're glad that by us coming to town it will lower league fees everywhere because they are way to high. Our fees are the lowest and we will keep them that way.
We hope to see you at our managers meeting scheduled for Feb. 24th at 7pm at Denny's on Harbor Blvd in Costa Mesa off the 405fwy.
NABA is back!!

The NABA is back in Orange County once again and will start on March 24th 2012. We will have 18 wood and 18 metal to start. We want to have 25,35,45+ divisions as well if we get enough teams to come over from other leagues. 18 game season split into (2) half seasons, All-Star game and a 1st place prize purse that gives the team a $2000 discounted entry up to a 20 man roster. That's 40% off entry into the NABA World Series in October.
League Try-outs: March 3rd 2012. Starts at 10am. Field to be announced.

The SCSI Scout team will compete in the wood bat division with players with pro experience or players looking to get signe dto the Pro level. The SCSI team placed second in the Jan. Tournament and won the Vegas Tournament in Feb this year. They are currently ranked #1 in the nation in the 18 wood division.
