Girls Bowling Team Wins Sectional, Heads to State!
For the third time in four years the Lady Wolves will be making a trip to Rockford for the State Bowling Tournament. The Wolves were placed in the hardest sectional in the state and fought back from 41 pins down in the final game to post a tournament high 6133 and became the Sectional Champions. Each girl finished averaging above 200 with senior Ali Wonders leading the way with a 1253. Kelsey Johnson and Giselle Poss both finished with a 1227 series and Samantha Donzelli finished with a 1224. Senior Amanda Karnuth was consistent all day with a 1202. The girls are excited and ready to take on the rest of the top finishers in the state next weekend at Cherry Lanes in Rockford.

Oswego East High School “Booster Bags” Tournament
On Saturday, February 27 the Oswego East High School Sports Boosters will host one of the area’s largest Corn Hole Tournament. There are four different divisions: 15u Doubles, Social Doubles, Competitive Singles, and Competitive Doubles. Check-in and final registrations will take place between 8 and 9 a.m.; tournament play begins at 10 a.m. Proceeds will benefit all student-athletes at Oswego East High School. In addition, there will be 50/50 raffles, Fast Pitch, Longest Putt, Free Throw, and Quarterback Throw contests, a Mini Robot competition, and a Wolf Pack Raffle. Items included in the raffle are Corn Hole games, donations from local businesses, as well as themed baskets from OEHS sports teams, clubs and student organizations. Winners will be notified by phone if not present. These events will be held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Various food items will be available for purchase at our concession stand throughout the day.
In support of area charities, there will be collections of both soda can tabs for Ronald McDonald House Charities and aluminum cans for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Your donation is greatly appreciated by families who will benefit from the services provided by these organizations.

Dr. Jeff Craig, principal at Oswego East High School, was notified on Friday, January 22, 2010 that we were declared the winner in the Chicago Region, and will receive a $5,000 donation to our Athletic Department!
