Terry Kills 13 Goldfish!!!
Lets hope he does a better job taking care of the Ordinary Joe's batting order??
Vic didn't have it tonight as he returned to the mound after some time off do to an injured calf. Vic pitched 5 innings and couldn't get the big out when needed. tim spear finished off the game as ordinary Joe;s tried to come back. In the bottom of the 7th trailing 9-4, Joes started its rally scoring 4 runs to pull within 9-8. brad lebel got a huge 2 out hit and moved to 2nd on a walk to ron tramel. after a wild pitch moved the winning run to 2nd. Tim spear came to the plate and hit a hard 1 hopper to 3rd base that ended the game and the comeback. ceasar tossed the entire game for tainos and got the victory.
Joe Romano took the mound once again for the Ordinary Joe's softball team. Joe pitched great with movement but the Hurricanes team found grass as they pulled off the win. Joe pitched great and we are glad to have him back!!
Vic pitches 7 strong innings to start season
May 15, 2008 — The Ordinary Joe's team opened the 2008 season with a Victory Thursday. Vic pitched 7 strong innings in holding a solid Hurricanes team to just 1 riun. Ordinary Joe's trained 1-0 into the 5th before the bats came alive for 5 runs. Mike droved a bases loaded line drive to RF that got by Poncho for a bases clearing 4-1 lead. Joes added one more in the inning to finish game 1 with a 5-1 victory!
Cal is brilliant in 1st outing!
May 22, 2008 — Mario Calabrese took the ball in game 2 for Ordinary Joe's and was nasty! cal tossed a gem and kept Joe's sluggish bats in the game until the could finlly bust out! In the 6th inning trailing 1-0 joe's exploded off Mike Brown fo 5 runs. Cal pitched a quick 7th to earn the the 2nd victory for the ordinay Joe;s team. joe's played great defense as well, highlighted but great running catches from Brad, ron, and a leaping grab from Matt Mendillo! Kenny B was the offensive hero with a bit bases loaded hit that scored 2 giving O'Joes the lead.
