It is the mission of the Omaha Owls Basketball Club to educate and empower today’s youth with confidence, commitment and integrity, so they can live a productive and successful tomorrow. Our goal is to teach young athletes respect for themselves, their peers and their community by instilling a code of ethics built on honesty, responsibility and team work.
Together, our players, families and volunteers work with unyielding spirit to cultivate a safe and disciplined environment so every child can reach their full potential, develop their talents and increase their skills in the game of basketball and more importantly… life.
The Omaha Owls Basketball Club is a Non Profit Corporation. The club is NOT committed to making money, but making every girl who plays here the best player she can be on and off the court. We expect hard work, a positive attitude, a team attitude, and a commitment to be the best player you can be and you will be pushed to be that player.
We are member of the Amateur Athletic Union, Heads Up Concussion, and Positive Coaching Alliance. We will play in the Conqueror Fall & Winter League. The fall league starts in October thru December and the winter league starts in January thru February. Each team will play an average of 20 to 45 games a year. We will practice once a week and we will work around our players other commitments. We will have volunteer open gym sessions thru out the summer. We will also have volunteer gym sessions during the season once a week. All of our practices will be at one of the Millard Public Elementary Schools or at Elkhorn Common Ground Recreation Center.
