OUTKASTS BEGIN WINTER SEASON with a 18-12 Victory against the EXCELLENT MEN.
New QB Charlie Hurley was steady in tossing two scoring strikes one a 65 yard bomb to newcomer Manny Rodouskkis. The defense was spectacular at times and not so at others. A lot of good teams means no easy games. Stay tuned. Outkasts welcome Sacha, Charlie, Manny, Andy, and Rick to the Squad, while saying goodbye to Josh, Jon, Sean, Vinnie, and Dave Graham.
SEASON AWARDS
August 2, 2009
While this was a total team driven season and we had contributions from everyone...along with some injuries there are a few who just stood out.
Firstly on offense Dave Graham scored by my count 14TDS. 4 passing 4 rushing and 6 rec. He stepped in to play QB both victories and we couldnt have done it without him. He also contributed on defense playing a nearly flawless safety. Honorable mention Jimmy Barnes and Todd.
Defense well Todd Hirsh with his 11 INTS and leading the team in total tackles comes to mind. Second would be Kindell Cuttino and Sean Brand. Both beasts and had 15 and 9 sacks respectively.
Special teams well Jon Verpent. His kick returns were always game changers.
Roster Breakdowns and Special thanks to follow. Stay Tuned!!

CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE
Dave Graham stepped in at QB and as he has done all season made things happen. He was harrassed all day by a fierce Death Row pass rush, but threw the winning TD pass to JB on a 4 and 4. LB Todd Hirsh had 2 more INTS to run his total to 11 on Defense while Kindel had 5 SACKS to take over the team lead with 15.
DEATH ROW /BADBOYZ VS NJ SPRAY TEK OUTKASTS IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
ALL PREVIOUS GAMES WERE CLOSE AND DOWN TO THE WIRE
OUTKAST WINS were 15-7 and 12-6 while the DEATHROW VICTORY was 20-18.
OUTKAST HAVE TO BEAT THE DEATH ROW SQUAD LOADED WITH VETERAN TALENT ONE MORE TIME.
SHOULD BE A GOOD ONE.
OUTKASTS PREPARE FOR TITLE SHOT
July 21, 2009
Despite the leagues woes the OUTKASTS have gone out and done what they needed to do. With the only loss being a hotly contested 1-point loss to a severly undermanned BADBOYZ/DEATH ROW SQUAD a superhuman if not chippy effort by Black pretty much single handedly willed the Badboyz to victory, which will make the rematch all the more sweet. The scores are a 15-7 Outkasts win and a 19-18 Badboyz victory. The rematch should occur in the championship game unless the SHARKS can provide an upset should be GOOD.
OUTKASTS
February 23, 2009
OUTKASTS started after the end of the 2005 season. The core of the team had been playing with the Thundering Herd. A good group of guys that always fell short. We took a look at the teams that were successful like the LANDSCAPE CONCEPTS/BRAVES and the NJ RAIDERS,and decided that would be the direction we take when we start our own team. So Hollywood, MIke O, Izzy Rodriguez, Mike Milano, Jon Motts, Zeke, Rob O, and Pretty Boy Rob, Jay Motto, Jon Sarf, combined with Dan Muirhead and added Eyce, and James Wilson with a few others and became the OUTKASTS. (Great name Dan). We won a championship the first season. There has been some changes we lost a few guys who went off to do there own thing or guys have retired but the core remains, and the goal remains.
TO TRY AND BE THE TEAM THAT OTHER TEAMS WANT TO EMULATE. TOO PLAY HARD WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT. We have since added some experienced veterans as well as some explosive young talent and can compete week in and week out with any team.
NEW SEASON-NEW BEGINNINGS
THE 2009 season will start with THE OUTKASTS saying goodbye to 2 core players. First Mike Williams. A class act who helped us stabilize and keep our team together. He was a leader we leaned on quite a bit. A long time NJ Raider who joined us and as an older player still excelled and on most days was still better then most players he faced. He will be missed.
Secondly Hollywood. His loss will be tough to measure. Although he drove us crazy there was always method to his madness and his play on the field when it mattered was awesome. The bigger the game the bigger his perfomance.
We will miss you both.
But when one door closes another opens. John Barnes will step into Mike Williams role as starting corner and Wide out. John's ability speaks for itself and only time will tell if his leadership ability will equal the physical talent. I am confident it will.
Izzy will step in for Hollywood. And those who have played with Izzy or against him know that he plays anywhere the team needs and does what is best for the team. You cant ask for more then that.
Our Goal this season is to get better bring in some new players and finish what we started.
SEE YOU ALL IN A FEW WEEKS FOR PRACTICE.
