A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US.....
Welcome to Overdrive's site. We consist of a group of girls from the Salem area who are 9 and 10 year-olds that participate in the fastpitch league of Saline County, Arkansas. Fall 2009 was our first season in "live-pitch". The girls have been together for a few seasons now and play really well together. We do have a couple of new girls this year that we want to welcome to the team. We look forward to a great season this spring/summer.
We have a great coaching staff led by Mike Norman and Lance Bonvillain. They dedicate a lot of time to teaching the girls basic skills along with what it takes to be a winner, and most importantly sportsmanship. At the end of each practice and the beginning and end of each game, the girls recite John 3:16.
We also have a great group of parents. Everyone is always there to help out where needed... whether it is helping out at practices or getting the girls to pay attention.
