Rules and Administrative Changes
Continued from prior years - Electronic Rosters are required for 2013 and beyond Continued from prior years - All Local League Score Books are required at Tournament Time. The highest level team (ie: 12's vs 11's) shall bring local score books as required documentation). The EH program will be in effect for ALL age groups at ALL District, State and Regional tournaments for 2013. The usage of the EH is NOT mandatory. IF you elect to utilize the EH, you will be required to end the game with 10 players. The EH player is utilized as a free defensive substitution. All DISTRICT, STATE AND REGIONAL tournaments should have NUA umpires. If you wish to utilize local umpires, it's recomended they be certified as NUA umpires. They can obtain their certifications through the BabeRuthLeague.org site. No outside food at state tournaments! The coach of the offending team will be suspended and the league will be fined $200. When you travel to a host team facility, please be aware that they, too, are raising money through their snack stand for their organization. We wouldn't want someone to bring outside food or drink to our fields. No change in bat rules for Cal Ripken.
