2017 PCYFA Football & Cheer Season Start/ Sign-ups
The Palmer Cowboys season starts Tuesday, August 1st 2017. If you have not signed up yet come down to the field on Water St. August 1st for 5:30 pm. Practice begins for all levels at 6pm. All players and cheerleaders should try to be there 15 minutes prior to start time. If you have a new football player remember to bring a copy of their birth certificate( the league keeps this so don't bring the original you don't get it back). All football and cheer should bring plenty of water to drink. Proper attire is shorts, tshirts, cleats (for football) or sneakers if you haven't bought cleats yet. Football players should be wearing a cup also. Fees are $125.00 per football player $75.00 per cheerleader. A discount of $20.00 per family of 2 or more football players/cheerleaders. Some 1/2 price scholarships are available to qualifying applicants. Must prove you are receiving assistance. WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR HELP DURING THE SEASON FOR : Concession stand, 50/50 raffle sales, chain gang, etc.... Remember we are all volunteers, we need everybody's help to make it happen!!!! Looking forward to another great season, hope to see you all on the 1st of August. Enjoy the rest of the off-season.
The PCYFA has 4 homes games per season. Members of the board of directors will be approaching parents to volunteer their time in the concession stand during home games. If anyone would like to make food donations for the home games please see a member of the board of directors. We will need items such as hotdogs, hamburgers, buns, coffee, hot chocolate, soda, and water etc...
Pease remember we are a volunteer organization that rely on everyone to help out.

As usual they stepped up in a big way to help make the tournament and the season a big success. We appreciate everything they do and have done for our organization. Practice and Games
Parents are responsible for getting players and cheerleaders to and from games and practices on time. Please have players arrive 15 minutes prior to practices and 1 hour prior to games. Each participant MUST have an adult contact at every practice and game in case of injury or in case of early ending due to weather. It is the parents/guardians responsibility that the child knows who to go to (other than a coach or board member) if the parent/guardian is not going to be present at the field. PCYFA can not be held responsibile for the health and welfare of unattended children.
Practice/Game Field Rules
The only people allowed on the field are Coaches & Board Members that have been CORY Checked. Parents/Guardians with issues should see the Parent Liaison, or another board member so a meeting between all parties involved can take place and the issue can be rectified. Please do not approach a coach with issues on the practice/game field. All parents/guardians, players, coaches and board members sign a code of conduct, please adhere to it. Player/Cheerleader injury is the only time parent/guardians can go on the field, these are league rules set for the safety of everyone.
