***2018 Palmer Football Mini Camps***

Exciting News!!  
Palmer Football will be holding 6 mini camps starting May 20th and running every Sunday through June 24th.  The camps will be held 5pm-7pm at the Palmer Football Complex.  Camps are for all kids interested in playing football in 2018.  This is a great opportunity for kids who have never played football or kids who are interested in getting back into football to see our program and have some fun.  This is also great for our returning player to work on skills and fundamentals in the offseason.

Welcome to Palmer Football 2018

We are trying to increase our sign up numbers and ask that you spread the word amongst neighbors and friends to have their boys and girls come out and try out our program. Palmer football has been a staple in the community and has been the model program in the are for many years. Our facilities, coaches, parents and kids remain the class of the area and we are continuing to take steps to assure it remains that way.

As you are aware, the Easton High School Football program has had a change of coaching over the last year. They had a tremendous season that was capped off by a Thanksgiving Day win over P'burg in dramatic fasion. We are in close contact with Coach Braido and his staff as they have made it a point to have open communication with all of their feeder programs (Palmer , Forks, Easton) and are continually working closely with our coaches and staff so that we are all together in preparing our players to be Easton Red Rovers. We are implementing many of their traditions, schemes and philosophies into everything we are doing at Palmer and will continue to do so.

Some dates and events to keep an eye out for:

* signups will take place throughout the month of May and reminders will be posted on website and social media.

*This year we will be doing something new-- we will hold football "mini Camps" every Sunday for 6 weeks starting around May 20. The camps will run from 5-7pm at our field. They will be a combination of speed, agility and football drills and practices and will be run by our coaches and some guest instructors. We are also hoping to have some of the Easton High School players and coaches involved in these. These are voluntary workouts and are a good oppurtunity for everyone to bring a friend or someone that may be interested in trying out our program.There will be no cost for these mini-camps. More details to follow.

*Official practices begin 2nd week of August.

* On Thursday, August 30, we will have our first annual "Palmer Panther Football and Cheerleading Pep Rally" to take place at the field after practice. Details to follow.

* Lastly, keep an eye out for some earlier fundraising opportunities in the spring as well as online Palmer Panther Football Spirit Wear store to be up sometime in the Spring. Our fundraising and merchandise will be overseen moving forward by Jen Dodwell and Kim Stout. They will be forwarding information as we have it.
