Taylor Price Qualifies for State!

Congratulations to Taylor Price for placing 6th in regional’s cross country and advancing to state.

Ridge Point will send its girls team and individual runner Gabriel Price to the Region III Championships on Nov. 3 at Atascocita High School. The school seeks its first Class 4A state meet qualification a week after the Lady Panthers finished second in District 22-4A.

The top three teams and top 10 individuals from the regional meet advance to the state meet Nov. 10 in Round Rock. The Lady Panthers finished second to 2011 state qualifier Stratford at the district meet, scoring 60 points to trail by only 13.

Standout freshman Taylor Price completed the five-kilometer course in 20 minutes, 41.98 to finish second overall. She finished 42 seconds ahead of third place.

Ridge Point was the only team with three runners in the top 10 as junior Lauren DeLuca (5th, 22:05.54) and sophomore Kevine Har (6th, 22:13.43) joined Price. Morgan Wallace, Alexis Brown and India Ware compose the rest of the regional team.

Junior Gabriel Price will represent the Panthers in Round Rock after placing sixth at the District 22-4A meet. He completed the five-kilometer course in 17:39.35.

The Panthers finished fourth as a team, one spot from regionals, led by Price and Trevor Fenner (15th, 18:42.04).

Moving On...District Cross Country Results

Congratulations to the girls cross country team for placing 2nd in district and advancing to regional’s on Nov. 3, 2012.

Taylor Price 2nd place, Lauren DeLuca 5th place, Kevine Hart 6th place, Morgan Wallace 19th place and Alexis Brown 33rd and India Ware.

The boys cross country team ( Gabriel Price, Trevor Fenner, Zaen Rodriquez, Justin Henderson, Derrick Sanders, Vance Vaughan, and Conley Mills) placed 4th in district.

Congratulations to Gabriel Price for placing 6th place and advancing to regionals on Nov. 3, 2012.


JV runner Jordyn D'Onech placed 3rd at the district meet.

Awesome job from all the runners on the 2012 boys and girls cross country team.

Under the circumstance(raining) the cc VB placed 7th overall. Gabriel place 17th and Trevor, Justin , Zaen, and Vance.

VG --- Taylor placed1st, Lauren7th, Alexis 39th

JVB -- ran well Thomas, Tyler, Carson, Eric, Blake, Ben

JVG-- Morgan, Jordyn, Emily and India ran great races.

New School Record!
September 17, 2012

Congratulations to Taylor Price for placing first and setting a new school record in 3.1 miles with a time of 19:28.17 at the Wolverine CC Invitational held on Sept 14, 2012.
This week the CC team will compete in the Deer Park Cross Country Invitational at 8:30 am.

Uniform Care

Dear Cross Country Parents & Runners:

Please read the following from Coach Albright and help us in this manner!

Washing the uniforms:

· Our uniforms should be washed on delicate.

· There should be no fabric softener used with the uniforms ESPECIALLY the new Nike ones

· DO NOT DRY THE UNIFORMS…hang dry them

Please lets care for these as long as we can. Some of the older ones from last year already have cracking letters and are messed up because of not reading the label instructions
