RPHS Panthers ROCKED THE BLOCKS at the UIL STATE Swimming & Diving Championships!! UIL Swimming started the season with 16,000 swimmers and 500 schools. UIL 4A Swimming ended the swim season with 73 schools represented at State and only the Top fastest 16 swimmers allowed to swim in each event!
Ridge Point advanced 4 individual swimmers and 1 relay team onto STATE! After Prelim Swims, 3 Panther swimmers made it into the Championship "A" Final putting them in position in their events to place at the State Meet! ALL THREE SWIMMERS PLACED IN THE TOP 5 IN THE STATE! This is the FIRST TIME we have had Panther Swimmers swimming in the CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL!
Anthony Aranda (10) brought home the Bronze Medal in the 100 Backstroke, and also placed 6th in the 100 Fly! FIRST TEAM ALL STATE!!
Madison Aranda (11) placed 4th in the State in the 100 Fly! FIRST TEAM ALL STATE!!
Brandon Ewer (10) placed 5th in the State in the 100 Breast! FIRST TEAM ALL STATE!!
Anthony Aranda (10), Madison Aranda (11), and Brandon Ewer (10) ALL MADE 1st TEAM ALL STATE TEAM! THIS IS A FIRST FOR RPHS!!
RPHS also advanced 1 swimmer and our Girls Relay team to the Consolation "B" Finals!
Tyler Bleasdell (12) placed 9th in the State in the 500 Freestyle, but ended up with the 5th fastest time in the meet. SECOND TEAM ALL STATE!!
Girls 400 Freestyle Relay- Madison Aranda (11), Abigail Wong (10), Riley Labus (9) & Carley Wood (10) placed 9th in the State - SECOND TEAM ALL STATE!
Thanks also to Captains Savannah Maier and Brooke Boarman for traveling to Austin with the team as Alternates for the Relay.
Thank you to Coach Bryson for being part of the team for the meet! Thank you for helping driving the team, and cheering on the Panther Swimmers! You are now officially inaugurated into the swimming world!
CONGRATULATIONS COACH FALL FOR AN AMAZING SWIM SEASON!! Coach Fall and the Panther Team have hit many new milestones this year !! District Coach of the Year, Girls Team District Championship, Several Districts Champions, Several District Records Set, Two Regional Champions, Two Regionals records set, 8 Swimmers at State, 5 Second Team All State Swimmers, 3 First Team All State Swimmers and a State Medal!

Good Morning! Exciting prelims!! Brandon Ewer, Madison and Anthony Aranda are in A Finals today!!! Meaning they will place at State in top 8- 1st team all state. Tyler Bleasdell and the girls relay are in B Final/consolation heat: meaning 2nd team all state - Going into finals Anthony is 3rd, Brandon is 4th and Madison is 6th.

PANTHERS ROCK THE BLOCKS AT REGION 7 CHAMPIONSHIP!!
RPHS Panthers brought the fight to the Region 7 Varsity Swimming Championship in San Antonio! The team arrived late Thursday night and competed in Prelims on Friday and Finals on Saturday. The Boys and Girls Teams both took 4th place as a team at Regions competing against 18 other High Schools. 23 Varsity swimmers qualified for this competition and most of the Panther swimmers qualified for Finals. The Top ONE swimmer in each event from each Region automatically advances to the STATE Competition in Austin at the University of Texas in 2 weeks. This sends the top 8 swimmers onto State. Once results are all in the next fastest 8 times will be "called up" rounding out the top fastest 16 swimmers in each event going to State.
Congratulations to Coach Fall for an amazing meet and now it's time to get READY FOR STATE!!

The RPHS Varsity Panther Swim Team took on Angleton, Brazosport & Marshall High Schools in the District 26 4A Swimming Championship.
The swimmers did an AMAZING job with the Girls Team taking the TEAM DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP and the Boys Team placing a very close 2nd place.
Coach Steven Fall was awarded the Coach of the Year! Madison Aranda (11) and Anthony Aranda (10) were awarded Athletes of the Meet. NEWDISTRICT RECORDS were set by Madison Aranda (11) in the 200 Freestyle & the 100 Fly, by Anthony Aranda (10) in the 100 Backstroke & the 100 Fly, and by Brandon Ewer(10) in the 100 Breaststroke.
25 RPHS PANTHERS placed in the Top 6 at Districts will travel to San Antonio to compete in the Regional Meet in which the Top 1 Swimmer will advance in each event to STATE

Savannah Maier (12) is the FIRST Panther swimmer to sign a letter of intent to swim for a college!
Savannah signed her official letter of intent in front of family, friends, students, faculty and her coaches. The ceremony was held in the Ridge Point High School Auditorium on Wednesday, November 14th at 2:00 pm. Lynn University is located in Boca Raton, Florida. Savannah will be an important part of the University's Inaugural year for Women's Swimming.
The Panther swim team is Proud of Savannah! Savannah is excited about swimming for the Lynn University Knights. Swim Fast Savannah!
