November 01, 2009...In round 2 of the Pop Warner National Play-Offs, The Parkland Rangers Pee Wees won the Treasure Coast Conference South Division Championship as they rolled past the Royal Palm Beach Blue Wildcats 35-6. The team excelled on offense, defense and special teams throughout the day. QB Brett Israel, who had over 150 yards passing and 100 yards rushing, connected with Justin Lara on a 51 yard touchdown pass to give the Rangers a 6-0 lead. Sawyer Morgan then had a tremendous hit on a Wildcat running back and Shawn Walker recovered the ensuing fumble. Blake Israel then made a spectacular catch between two defenders on a pass from Brett Israel that resulted in a 39 yard touchdown pushing the Ranger's lead to 12-0. Nigel Davis, the workhorse running back for the Rangers, then blasted over from 15 yards out to give the Rangers a 20-0 halftime lead. Joey Osborne opened the second half with a 25 yard kickoff return. On third and long, after being flushed from the pocket, Brett Israel weaved 45 yards for a touchdown. Christian Bingo closed out the scoring for the Rangers as he carried three defenders on his back into the endzone and Nicolas Borodiak converted two extra points. Elgin Davis and Jack Campbell were dominant blockers throughout the game.
Defensively, Lamonte McDougal, Shawn Walker, and Chris Perry were outstanding. The linebacking crew of Nigel Davis, Blake Israel and Sawyer Morgan caused two fumbles and continually disrupted Wildcat running backs. The Rangers next play Okeechobee in the Treasure Coast League Championship on Saturday, November 07, 2009 at 1:00 pm in Port St. Lucie.

October 28, 2009...The No. 1 seeded Rangers won their first playoff game as they shutout the Royal Palm Beach Black Wildcats, 29-0. On the Rangers next possession, Israel connected with Nigel Davis on a 72 yard scoring strike to push the lead to 15-0. In the second quarter, Blake Israel intercepted a pass and returned it 88 yards for a touchdown. Brett Israel closed out the scoring for the Rangers as he rumbled 42 yards for a touchdown. Superb blocking by Raymond Menendez, Jacques Laforge, Sawyer Morgan, Devin Vortolomei, Sean Walker, Adam Kaiser, and Jack Campbell allowed the Rangers to continually move the ball. Defensively, interceptions by Blake Israel and Justin Lara thwarted two Wildcat drives. Linebackers Nigel Davis and Sawyer Morgan were the leading tacklers. Defensive linemen Lamont McDougle, Scott Small, Frankie Scott, Chris Perry and Sean Walker were relentless. Defensive backs Joey Osborne, Cole Allen, and Christian Bingo shut down the Wildcat receivers while Defensive Ends Elgin Davis and A.J. Ferraro would not allow Wildcat running backs to get outside. Kicker Nicolas Borodiak went two for two on conversions and Joey Osborne was spectacular as he recovered two onsides kicks for the Rangers. Jake Miednik (4 receptions for 94 yards, 4 tackles) and David Stanzione (2 receptions for 56 yards and a TD) were Robby Stefans’ favorite targets connecting as he passed for 149 total yards including a 28 yard TD toss to Stanzione. The defense battled all night long holding the Gators’ potent offense in check for most of the game. Why We Play for the Parkland Rangers
What sets the Parkland Rangers apart from other local tackle football organizations is our ALL PLAY rules. What this does is to insure that all players of all sizes, strengths and abilities are equally coached. With every child playing a significant role in the outcome of a game, coaches see the need to work with all players so when they are in the game, the team remains competitive. For the player, this means higher self esteem, improved ability, added responsibility, increased toughness and a true feeling the he is part of the team. The following link is an article recently published online about a local league who does not institute the all play rule. The Lost Season.

Welcome to ParklandRangers.com It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to the Parkland Rangers Youth Tackle Football and Cheer Program. The club is comprised of up to 6 Football Team Levels and up to 6 Cheerleading Squads. All practices are held at Terramar Park in Parkland. Home games will be played at Coral Springs High School in Coral Springs. We compete in the South Division of the Treasure Coast Football Conference (TCFC), an affiliate of Pop Warner youth football and cheer. The Parkland Rangers Youth Tackle Football and Cheer Program is dedicated to providing a positive and enriching environment for both the children and the parents. One of the things that makes us different from most Youth Football clubs is our "Must Play" rule. This rule outlines that, in order to effectively teach discipline, dedication and teamwork to each child involved in the program, each player must take the field in every game. In the end, we want the boys and girls of Parkland to develop the skills necessary to not only succeed in team athletics, but also in life.

Girl Cheerleaders!!! We need you as much as we need Boys!

Our staff has an extensive background in All-Star Cheer and we want to share it with you. For more information about our Cheer program, please e-mail Cheer@ParklandRangers.com
