Wanted: Summer travel team coaches

The Parkway Summer Travel Baseball program is seeking managers and coaches. We will field teams ages 8 to 12 years old (current Little League age). All teams will play a weekday schedule in the Suburban or Friendship leagues and may include additional weekend tournaments including the Mayor's Cup. Please contact summer travel coordinator Dennis Roache at dennis.roache@gmail.com if interested.

Makeups being added to schedule

All rained out games are currently being re-sceduled and managers/coaches will be sending notices, but please always double-check the web schedules for the latest field assignments and updates.

Our 66th season is underway!

Parkway Little League officially started the 2018 season with our annual parade and opening day ceremonies on Saturday April 14. All 56 Parkway Little League teams marched and each Major team played that day. Governor Charlie Baker and Mayor Marty Walsh were on hand to throw out the first pitches of the season.

As of Tuesday May 1, registration has closed.
Please contact us with any questions about participating in Parkway Little League.

Want to get involved in PLL?

We are an all-volunteer organization and always could use the help, from coaching to administrative tasks, your time and commitment would be welcomed! E-mail volunteer@ParkwayLittleLeague.org for more info.

New bat standard in place for 2018

Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard has been implemented in Little League. Bats that were approved for use for the 2017 season are no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity this season. Little League International has assembled an online resource page dedicated to baseball bat information, that includes the latest bat information, current Little League Baseball rules and regulations governing bats and definition of terms. The key is that all bats must have a USA Baseball sticker to be approved.

Parkway Little League loses great friend & volunteer

Steve Mullen, longtime Parkway Little League coach and volunteer, passed away on Oct. 4 at the age of 49. The epitome of a family man, Steve loved baseball and guided his three sons (Cormac, Nolan and Declan) through the Parkway program. He will be greatly missed and all of our thoughts at Parkway Little League are with Steve's family at this difficult time.

Contributions in Steve’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Rd. #301, Framingham, MA 01701, www.lung.org.

A photo finish...

Great opportunities are available for Parkway families to commemorate the 2017 Little League season with photos!

Great action shots!
Throughout the 2017 season, professional photographer/editor Lloyd Young (father of current Cardinals player Ben Young and former White Sox Luke Young) took photos of the Majors action and now these photos are posted for purchase, with 10 percent of the proceeds returning as a contribution to Parkway Little League!  Brayden Gero story goes viral

An amazing story of sportsmanship played out at Parkway Little League's Praught Field last season, and it went viral. Brayden Gero, a 12-year old Little Leaguer with Down Syndrome, lived out his dream, recording the final out and a save in his last Little League game. Now the video has been viewed almost a half million times and the story has been featured by major media outlets. Congratulations to everyone who made this incredible moment possible, including the A's coaches (led by manager Tim Quinn), the Phillies coaches (led by manager Ross Birch) and batter Chris Thompson.
