Pennsbury Falcon Cheerleading Association
PFCA is a recreational cheerleading program that offers a variety of cheerleading opportunities. Participation is open to members of the Pennsbury School District entering K - 9th grade levels in September. It is also open to private school students that reside within the boundaries of Pennsbury School District.
The purpose of our program is to promote and uphold school spirit and pride while providing camaraderie among the cheerleaders without regard to the particular school they attend but rather as a member of the Pennsbury's Falcon Pride! The program seeks to develop good sportsmanship among all club members, support Pennsbury Athletic programs, and develop positive relationships in the community. This program is a feeder program into the Middle Schools and High School Cheerleading Programs.

IN HOUSE:
This is an introduction to cheerleading program for kindergarten through 6th graders. The girls are divided into two age categories, k-2 and 3-6. These squads learn side line cheers and cheer for Lower Makefield Football in the fall and PRBL Basketball in winter. They will learn a basic routine and take part in 1 end of the season competition. Practice runs from late August to the end of February. Football games begin in September and are on Saturdays, basketball games begin in December are held on Saturdays. Registration for our In-house program begins in April. These squads practice 1 time per week, on Tuesday at Manor Elementary. In House will be limited to 50 cheerleaders per sport. Cheerleaders that are registered to cheer for Basketball will participate in a competition in February or March.
Competition Teams:
Mini Division Age 8 & Under (Must be entering Kindergarten)*
Pee Wee Division: Age 10 & Under*
Youth Division: Age 12 & Under*
Junior Division: Age 14 & Under*
Special Needs Division: Age 21 & Under
(Age is determined by age on 8/31/13)
All Competition teams cheer for the Lower Makefield Football Program and PRBL Basketball Program. We offer a variety of different levels of competition teams. All teams are profesionally choreographed in September with the first competition in December ending in March. These teams will take part in approximately 9-10 local and 2-3 national cheerleading competitions. They practice 3 times per week and most cheerleaders take separate tumbling classes as well. All 2012-2013 squads are National Champions!
