Stampede On The Move

- The Continental Junior Hockey League would like to announce that the Stampede will be relocating to Columbus,OH for the upcoming 2011-12 season. The Stampede were originally slated for Syracuse, NY for the 2010-11 season, had to sit out due to the Coaching staff being unable to ice a team.
"We are very excited to be the having the CJHL in the Columbus area. By playing here, more hockey players and fans will have the opportunity to view the league. We look forward to building a strong relationship between the people of Columbus and the CJHL.” stated Cashman.
The league is set to begin play October 22 when the Erie Blizzard travel to Niagara Falls to take on the Niagara Fury. Tryout information is available on the team website www.stampedejrhockey.com.
Tryout Camp Set For Niagara Area

- The Continental Junior Hockey League has set a tryout for July 30 and 31 at the Leisureplex in Fort Erie, Ontario. Cost for the camp is $80 per player. Players will get 3 games in the weekend to prove themselves to the Niagara Fury, Erie Blizzard, Pittsburgh Stampede and the Johnstown Wings. Coaches will have contracts to offer players at the camp. Players interested in trying out can do so by filling out the tryout form and send it via email to cjhlhockey@hotmail.com. There will be absolutely NO walk up registration. Space will be limited as well.
