The Platte Valley Soccer Club will once again participate in the Brighton Festival of Lights, Saturday December 12th, 2009
All Players and their families are encouraged to participate!
It's your club, and a good time is had by all during the parade. You can ride on the club float or walk the parade route with your fellow players, but everyone needs to see how many lights we can put on the trailer. It's even better when it snows!!! Trailer decorating will be held at Tim Hart's house on Friday evening, December 11th from 5:30 'til whenever we're done.
For more information, contact Tim Hart (720) 951-4472 or Heather Langdon at 303-435-4610

Developmental Soccer with Platte Valley Soccer Club-Where the Learning Starts
Ever wonder how the best soccer players in the world become so good? They start with touching the ball, developing skills, exposure to good coaching, and most importantly having fun. Proper training with supporting skills work provide the foundation for young players to grow and learn how to play the "World's Game". That is the foundation of soccer at Platte Valley Soccer Club.
Touches on the ball, having fun, touches on the ball, learning proper technique, touches on the ball, gaining confidence, touches on the ball, qualified coaching, touches on the ball, and lastly, did we mention? Touches on the ball! Platte Valley Club Soccer emphasizes player development while offering young players the opportunity to enjoy the game at either recreational or competitive levels.
A focus on winnng, just for the sake of winning, is shortsighted. For the recreational player, the emphasis is on learning and enjoying soccer while building confidence, esteem and sporstmanship. In addition to these qualities, for those players who seek a more competitive level, there are opportunties to advance and play to Soccer's highest levels. Come see for yourself, and support your local futbol club. Families and Players-Welcome to Platte Valley Soccer!
Referee Certification Classes
Certified United States Soccer Referees (USSF) are trained to officiate matches and they get paid to be involved with soccer! Join a team of professionals within your sport who are confident and capable!
* Players benefit from certification because they know the Laws!
* Coaches benefit from certification because they are better able to communicate tactical advantages to their players.
* Parents can enjoy matches at a higher level when they understand the Laws of the Game.
It's fun, you make money and it's better than flippin' burger's or sellin' clothes because your outside on the pitch!!!
For more information on becoming a USSF certified official, contact Kevin Barnes, PVSC Club Assignor-(303) 941-4479 or KBarnesPVSC@msn.com.
