Phoenix Cadettes Lift Scottish Cup
For the first time in the club's history, Phoenix won the Scottish Cadette (Under 16 Cup) with a magnificent, nail biting victory over Glasgow Rocks 49-48. Well done to both teams for getting to the National finals for the second year in a row and good luck for the remainder of the season in both the National League and Play offs.

Whatever the reason, Phoenix Basketball would like to welcome new players coaches & volunteers of all ages and abilities to join us for season 2011/12. Training has now started for the season and offers coaching and playing opportunities for females aged nine to fifty plus within the following programme:
Under 12 & 14 Girls Development Squads Suitable for girls aged 10 to 13 Venue: Boroughmuir High School - Mondays from 6.30 to 8.00pm Opportunities to play competitive basketball in the Lothian youth leagues
<Under 16 Girls (National League) Competes in the Scottish National Cadette League Training: Mondays at Boroughmuir High School from 7.45 to 9.30pm Thursdays at Drummond High School from 6.00 to 7.45pm
Under 18 Girls (National League) Competes in the Scottish National Junior League Training: Tuesdays at Drummond High School from 6.00 to 7.45pm Thursdays at Drummond High School from 6.00 to 7.45pm
Under 21 Youth Women New squad who compete in the Lothian Senior league and play at Gracemount HS on Wednesday from 8.00 to 9.45pm.
Lothian Senior Women Play in the Lothian Senior Leagues Training: Tuesdays at Drummond High School from 7.45 to 9.45pm
National League Senior Women Play in the Scottish National Leagues Training: Mondays at Boroughmuir High School from 7.45 to 9.30pm Thursdays at Drumond High School from 7.45 to 9.45pm
