Welcome to Port Orange Soccer Club
The Port Orange Soccer Club is a not for profit youth soccer club located in Port Orange, Florida. The club is managed by an elected board of volunteers and is dedicated to serving the youth of Port Orange and surrounding communities. Over the past several years, the Port Orange Soccer club has become one of the premier youth soccer organizations in the area.
Our team of elite coaches and volunteers provide boys and girls from age 8-18 a competitive soccer experience. It is our objective for all players to reach their fullest potential as players and individuals, learn how to play with skill, imagination and creativity, develop a love and passion for the game, and to find success in whatever they aspire to do. Throughout our history the Port Orange Soccer Club has produced many outstanding soccer players.
The Port Orange Soccer Club is affiliated with the Florida Youth Soccer Association and most of our teams compete in the Greater Central Florida Soccer League.Games are played under the affiliation and rules of the FYSA and the US Youth Soccer Association. Games for the fall season begin in September and consist of a ten game season. The spring season games begin in March and consist of eight games. Half of the season’s games are played at our home fields and the other half are played away. Players of High School age play eight games in fall starting in August, and eight games in the spring.
Embry Riddle Women's Playoff Game
Embry Riddle women's soccer team is nationally ranked no. 1 in the country and their first playoff game is on Saturday 11/22/2014 at 6 p.m. Our club has been invited to attend the game and some players will be asked to participate in a fun competition between local soccer clubs at halftime. All POSC players should wear their red game jerseys. Admission is is $3 for players and adult admission is $5.
Goal Keeper Academy
Port Orange Soccer Club is proud to host our inaugural Goal Keeper Academy this fall to honor our goal keepers and their supporting families. The academy will provide an opportunity to recognize the essential roles our keepers hold in the Club, as well as provide them with premier training and tools for success.

Aidan Davison Accomplishments
- UEFA “A” License, ASSF “A” Goalkeeping License
- Played 20 years as a professional in England, at every level including the English Premier League with Bolton Wanderers and Bradford City.
- Earned promotion to the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers, League Cup Final and FA Cup quarter finals.
- Competed in the Inter-Toto European Cup competition with Bradford City.
- Promoted to the Championship League with Grimsby Town via play-offs at Wembley Stadium. Set a club record of 50 clean sheets in 100 games in League 1 and the
- Championship. Auto Windscreen Cup winners at Wembley stadium.
- Earned automatic promotion to the Championship League with Colchester United. Went on a 22 home game unbeaten streak in League 1 and the Championship.
- Represented Northern Ireland in European Championship and World Cup qualifying campaigns.
- Worked alongside Goal Keeping coaches: Peter Shilton, Pat Jennings, Neville Southall, Alan Hodkinson, Eric Steele, Seamus McDonough, Fred Barber and Ian Macfaul
Fall 2014 Season
The Port Orange Soccer Club currently has 23 competitive soccer teams for boys and girls from u9-u19. All POSC teams compete in league play with GCF & FPL. Some POSC teams compete at the State Cup & Region Cup Level. The Port Orange Soccer Club wishes good luck to all teams across Florida in the Fall season.
City Council Meeting
The Port Orange Soccer Club spoke before the city council on October 7th for the second time in the last year. This was to continue progress toward improving our fields and finding a long term new soccer facility. The link to the presentation can be found here.

The Mission of the Port Orange Soccer Club is to promote the sport of soccer while encouraging fair play and good sportsmanship. Our goal is to improve on soccer skills, build friendships and encourage positive mental and physical growth of our youth in the Volusia area.
