Attention players, pictured below is the available artwork for this years apparel.  Logo A (left) is the Skunks head with Fear The Skunk.  Logo B (right) is the Post 211/Funkstown artwork.

Please note that dates on fees and spiritwear are for SENIOR LEGION ONLY!!!!·    Once all our players are back from college we will be setting up a parent/player meeting to discuss these items in more detail.  Thank you, Coach Moore  

-There will be a $225 player fee.  This fee is nonrefundable.  Fee is due no later than June 7th

-$200 uniform deposit that will be returned at end of season when uniform returned.  Deposit is due before June 1^st and you will not receive a uniform until you have turned in your deposit

-Players will be provided a wristband for all of our offensive signals.  There will also be a separate $20 deposit for this wristband that will be returned after the season.

- Spirit Wear orders are due no later than June 1^st at which time money must be turned in as well.

-June 29^th we will be having a Veterans Day at the park with Vets from the VA Hospital in Martinsburg.  Following the game we will be having a team picnic.  We ask that everyone bring a covered dish.  We will provide Drinks, Hamburgers, and Hotdogs.  Picnic will begin at roughly 1:30.  Players, parents, brothers & sisters are invited to attend.

-We will be playing in a wood bat tournament in Frederick from July 4-7.  Players must provide their own bats

- State Tournament will be held July 23-27 in Cumberland.  Regional Tournament will be August 8-12 in Camden, NJ.  World Series is August 16-20 in Shelby, NC.

Due to scheduling conflicts with the Bonanza Extravaganza our Cornhole Tournament has been postponed to a date TBD. Sorry for any inconvenience.

It is the goal of the Funkstown Legion Post #211 Coaching Staff to start a new winning streak of Western Maryland District Championship in 2013. As we attempt to reach our 4th straight Maryland State Tournament, the coaching staff is looking to field a team of the 18 finest baseball players that Washington County has to offer. This year's schedule will be loaded with competitive teams. This year's roster will need to be filled with selfless, team oriented individuals, in order to achieve our goal. Winning is certainly contagious, as Funkstown looks to continue its winning tradition in 2013. In teaching in-depth baseball fundamentals, Funkstown will be sure to exceed its success of the past, as the 2013 team will be a winner.

We just wanted to update everyone on our plans for the 2013 season. Funkstown Post 211 baseball will once again offer our own 17U program for those players ages 17 and under from ALL schools in Washington County. The 17U team will be based out of the Baltimore Metro League and will also play in several Tournaments throughout the summer. We are very excited to welcome this program to our baseball family. With the help of the community we hope to make this program as strong, recognized and respected as our current Funkstown Legion Post 211 19U Senior team.
