Jordan Williams received a full ride gymnastics scholarship to University of Arizona
Jordan Williams received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Arizona. She attributes her scholarship and success to the support she received from her family, friends, and coaches. While at Precision Gymnastics, Jordan’s accomplishments include qualifying for the 2009 Junior Olympics National competition and placing fourth in the All-Around and qualified her to the Junior Olympic National Team; All-Around Champion as well as first on vault and floor at regionals in 2009.
Jordan began gymnastics when she was 5 years old and has been participating in the sport for more than 12 years. Through gymnastics, Jordan said she has learned the importance of commitment, dedication, and inner strength. “I’ve learned to find strength within myself and have gained a strong work ethic and great discipline,” said Jordan. While at University of Arizona, she hopes to help her new gymnastics team achieve a national title. Jordan plans on majoring in pre-med.
