Monday, July 29:  mini-camp/practice 5:00-7:00 (OPEN TO ALL)

Wednesday, July 31:  mini-camp/practice 5:00-7:00 (OPEN TO ALL)

FRIDAY, August 2:  TRYOUTS FOR ALL NEWCOMERS 5:00-7:30 (CUTS WILL POSSIBLY BE MADE)

Monday, August 5: TRYOUTS CONTINUE FOR ALL (5:00-7:30) (CUTS WILL POSSIBLY BE MADE)

Tuesday, August 6: TRYOUTS CONTINUE (3:30-6:00) (FINAL TEAM PLACEMENT ANNOUNCED ON THIS WEBSITE)

Ponte Vedra Volleyball Summer workouts. Open to all interested in trying out for PV JV or varsity volleyball team. (official tryouts will be in August)

Summer workout schedule will start the week of June 3.

Mondays: league at JJVA 4:45 (invite by coach only)

Wednesdays: workouts on track 8:30-9:15

Thursdays: Practice 6:00-7:30 PV gym

The PV volleyball coaching staff uses e-mail / group text and Instagram as forms of communication.  PLEASE REQUEST to follow pontevedravb on Instagram for last minute posts / cancellations due to weather...etc...

Team begins daily weekday practice Monday, August 6. 5:00-7:00

Practices throughout the season will be after school 4:15-6:15 (3:15-5:15 on Wednesdays)

Following is our summer schedule.  Any cancellations due to weather or any other reasons will be notified via Instagram.  And eventually captains and teammates will form a group text for better communication.

PONTE VEDRA VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS:

Thursday, August 2nd and Friday, August 3rd

5:30-8:00pm

**Gabriella Dayhoff, Natalie Byron & Ellie Rollings were not able to attend tryouts.  They will attend practice as a tryout in the upcoming week.**

PARENTS MEETING MONDAY. AFTER PRACTICE, ABOUT 7:05. In a classroom (yet to be determined) near the gym.  Waiting in lobby is acceptable until after practice and we can all walk to meeting.

Something that will be discussed at parent meeting.  Tryouts were close and competitive on determining varsity players.  End goal is for this volleyball team to be at their top level during October & November,  coaches don't have to turn in a final roster until October 9.  Due to injuries, and room for development the below stated varsity team does not need to be set in stone.  Other sports at PV move players up and down throughout the year, and we may utilize the same strategy, especially pending injuries (knock on wood).
