Summer Session Starts Soon!
Darktown wants to play broomball. Damn good idea. Not a league, just a few drop-ins. Called Samms, QCSC is very busy. June out. Could do Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays in July, August, September. ESTIMATED TIMES!!!! Fri- 8pm Sat 8:30pm Sun. 9am about two hours ice time about $7
Not everyone can play anything. Get me numbers of people for what day. Example 5 Fr-Sa, 10 Sa-Su, 7 Su, 6 anytime. I'll try to do something that works for the greatest number of people. Not everyone can ( or will) play every time. Maybe we can do Fri in early July, Sat in late July and a Sun in Aug.
THIS WOULD ALSO BE A GOOD TIME TO GET NEW PLAYERS INVOLVED!!!!!!
I'm sure I'll miss someone, so get the word out to anyone you can. Get me an estimate of who can play when, and get back to me. E-mail, call me at home 359-9123, or Cell 563-349-0852
Thanks, Fish
Broomball takes Notre Dame by storm

About our league
We are a group of about 30 or so guys that get together on Sunday afternoons to play broomball. As far as skill level goes, we're right near the bottom (C/D rec level). There are a couple of more skilled players, but by and large we're entry level. Currently the make-up of our league is 100% men, but we have had women play in the past and are always looking for more people (men & women) to sustain our league.
We are a 'no-checking' league, and all the required equipment (helmet, stick, & ball) is provided by the rink. While not required, a face shield or mouthguard is recommended. The more experienced guys (50%) do have official broomball shoes, however there are still a fair number of folks that wear regualr tennis shoes.
If you're interested in playing, please contact one of the folks listed in the 'Contacts' section to the left. We're always looking for more players, so please grab a friend and come on down and join us!
