Home of The Rakers Baseball Club
The Rakers Baseball Club was founded in 2011 by former Major League Pitcher Bobby Jones. Bobby's top goal is to provide all players with the opportunity to hone their baseball skills, while giving them the tools to be successful on and off of the field.
Our program is a high-level and focuses on developing all facets of the game including sound fundamentals, good sportsmanship and accountability.
The program consists of club teams, ages 8u - 14u. Our teams train, practice and play all year round.
The program's main focus is development. While caring about results the program stays on this focus. This is the most important thing when it comes to developing good players. The goal is too take each player step by step and from field to field. We want to make the transitions easy through hard work, preparation, and with lots of baseball knowledge.
The program's plan is to elevate all boys' baseball IQ beyond their age. This will allow them to easily adjust as they move up ladder. I want to create high-level players who have a baseball foundation above and beyond their ages.
All teams practice a minimum of 2 times per week. They also compete in games and tournaments on the weekends. The Rakers, on all levels, will play in leagues in spring and fall while also competing in 2 tournaments per season. Summer teams will compete only in tournaments on weekends. Most of these will be local. Some will be travel.
We will attend Ripken Events, Sports at the Beach, Diamond Nation, Baseball Heaven, Cooperstown and more, depending on the level of teams. All players can expect to play a minimum of 45 games from spring to fall. We practice during all seasons. All teams, ages 8u - 14u, will have a maximum of 13 players and a minimum of 11. Everyone plays no matter what. We never bat more than 11. Most players rotate but the best players play top positions and pitch 11u and up. Aside from pitching, all players required to play more than 1 position. On 8u teams all players have an opportunity to pitch.

on winning 9u PBI fall baseball league championship, excellent job. You guys pitched it, caught it and Raked it all over the field. Not bad for a bunch of Baby Rakers.
Also the 12u Rakers for winning the Cerbo fall 12u League. Great Job BOYS you deserve it... All your HARD WORK is just beginning to pay off. Great Year Boys, now let's work harder, smarter and better. Because of you GUYS effort and hard work the RAKERS have a future. Thanks so much... Also Great Job to all the Rakers teams for making a winning commitment by working hard every day and trying to get better every time you walk on field. It was awesome to work with you all and look forward to OUR future...
