2012 Registration Now Open
On-line registration is now open! This year on-line registration will be from now through March 1st for all leagues. Any registrations entered and processed after March 1 will be charged a $30 late fee. There will be an In-person registration on Saturday, February 4, at the RosevilleCity Hall from 9am-12pm. In-person registration is a great time to get any questions answered and sign-up to volunteer for coaching or team manager positions! We will have the RAYB sports necklaces there for sale as well.
2012 fees are:
- Rookie (K & 1st Grade) $60
- C League (2nd & 3rd Grade) $80
- B League (4th & 5th Grade) $120
- A League (6th & 7th Grade) $190
- Midget (8th & 9th Grade) $190
- Senior (10th-12th Grade) $190
- Travel $190 + $25 try-out fee
- VFW $315 + $25 try-out fee
The fees for RAYB in 2012 have been lowered from 2011. This is due, in large part, to our new helmet requirement that will be more cost effective to both parents and the league over time.
Volunteer Opportunity and RAYB Apparel for Sale
Volunteer Hours
Want to get some of your volunteer hours used before the season even starts? We have an opportunity coming this Saturday at the Fairview Community Center. You will be helping our Equipment Manager go through team bags from last year. It will probably be an hour to a maximum of 2 hours, depending on how much help he gets. He will be there from 9-noon in the upstairs hallway above the gymnasium. (by the pool locker rooms)
Just show up and report in to Jim Kilborn, our equipment manager.

RAYB Apparel for Sale – 02/01/12 through 02/19/12
Order your Roseville Baseball apparel now! Adult and Youth sizes available for most items. Follow these instructions or open the attached file to see the items and order yours now. There is an overall RAYB order minimum that has to be met before the order can be processed. If this minimum is not met your charge card will not be charged. If the minimum is met you should see a debit to your card shortly after Feb. 19th. Orders typically take 4 weeks and will be shipped to the Steichens Sporting Goods store(located on the corner of County Rd B2 and Rice Street. You will get a call to come and pick up when they come in.
STEP 1: Go to www.lidsteamsports.com.
STEP 2: Click on “Team Shop”
STEP 3: Type in the organization code (RABASEMN2) and click “Go to Form”
STEP 4: Select team merchandise and add to shopping cart.
STEP 5: Once shopping is complete, click on “Checkout” and either register as a new customer or log in with previously registered information.
PLEASE NOTE – Orders must be completed on or before the End Date (Feb. 19).

2012 Roseville Baseball Training Program
The Roseville Area High School Baseball Coaching Staff is teaming up with RAYB to provide training opportunities for your players. Training sessions will focus on the fundamentals, while challenging and teaching player adjustments to work on at each session and at home. Coaches are encouraged to attend to see and hear what is being taught to bring back to your teams during the season.
Training Sessions - 5 week progressive program (Jan-Feb):
- Areas covered: Throwing, Catching, Pitching, Infield, Outfield, Base Running, Hitting, Bunting, Mental Game, Adjustments
- Player to Instructor Ratio: 6:1 (small team practice atmosphere)
- Dates (Sundays): Jan 15 – Jan 22 – Jan 29 – Feb 12 – Feb 19
- Location: Roseville Area High School (Upper Gym)
9-11 Year-Olds*
Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
12-14 Year-Olds*
Time: 5:00pm - 6:00pm
(*Age Group is based on age you will be at the end of the season – current RAHS students are not eligible)
Sessions limited to 30 players
