I have put the Order of appearance up on the bulletin board
PWFCEM cheering competition results
Hello All,
No "official" write up as of yet, but here are the results I have heard.
A-very close 2nd place off to the regional qualifier.
B-Did not get a trophy, but were so close to the trophy scores that they have been invited to the qualifier.
C-1st place in their division off to the qualifier
D-very nice show in a huge group of competitors, not quite enough to make it to regionals
E-Cute as always, wonderful exhibition
Regional Qualifier looks like it should be a good show!!

On Sat the buses are as follows:
7:30 for the D and C
11:30 for the A & B
E Team is meeting at Tsongus Arena
Buses depart from Coolige Middle School - there is no return trip.
Individual team Moms and coaches will be in touch about pre competition meetings for hair etc.
We still have tickets if you need them. We would like to wrap ticket sales up tonight if possible. Please see Corinne before 7:00 or after 9:00 practice ends.
Order of apperence is attached for both competitions
After Sat we will have a parent meeting for any advancing teams on Wed. night 11/4 time TBA to discuss qualifiers and regional competiton. We will also begin to discuss fundraising for Disney at this meeting.
The girls are working hard to get ready for competition, they look great! each team is getting better every practice. Please be sure they are all resting drinking plenty of fluids and washing hands. There is a cold/flu/bug that many of the girls seem to be catching. We will disifecting the mats and are encouraging them wash hands, cough into your sleeve, etc.

Buses - Sat Oct 31 for Eastern Mass Cheering competition - Tsongus Arena
7:30AM Coolidge Middle School for the C & D Teams and Staff
11:30AM Coolidge Middle school for the A & B Teams and Staff
No return bus trip, parents must pick up at the competition
E team is traveling with parents due to CCD classes and should arrive at the Cheerleader door at Tsongas Arena at 12:45.
Order of apperence is not out yet, hopefully after tonights Emass meeting.
Ticket Money for Emas is due Tonight Tuesday Oct 28, 2009 - Please see your team Moms
Yearbook pictures needed!!!
Hey there everyone, I know you all take awesome pictures, can you please either contact myself or your team coordinator to get those pictures in!!!
I have put upload instructions as well as a link to the order form for you all on the bulletin board.
If everyone could verify their childs name and picture on the yearbook site (instructions are on the bulletin board) It would help us bunches in making this first Yearbook totally AWESOME.

Per request this site will be temporarily giving limited information on the 2009 RPW cheering program.
Please stay tuned, some of the 2009 competition information and pictures should be up soon.
Lets just start with Middlesex League competition was 10/3/2009
Just the A and C squads competed that day and they both will be advancing to Eastern Mass, more on placements and divisions later
The B and D squads will be competing soon to determine if they will advance to Eastern Mass, date times etc coming soon

READING POP WARNER A and C TEAM CHEERLEADERS TAKE HOME TWO MIDDLESEX LEAGUE TITLES
On Saturday October 3, 2008 Reading Pop Warner Cheerleaders from the A and C Teams competed at Peabody High School in the League Championship Competitions. It was an excellent day for RPW! Both teams took 1st place and brought home to Reading two Middlesex League Championship Titles.
Reading C Team was the first to compete. This team competed in the Small Intermediate category for the 1st time. They delighted the crowd and judges as they performed their dance and tumbling. Their movement was sharp and clean and they hit all their stunts. The C team will compete at Eastern Mass Championship Competition in late October. The day was off to a good start!
The A team competed in the small advanced category in the evening portion of the competition. Their amazing performance was a great ending to a very successful day for Reading. Great smiles, flashy movements, superb stunting, terrific tumbling and loud voices earned this team and the Reading Pop Warner Cheerleading program another Middlesex League Championship.
Both teams have earned a place in the upcoming Eastern Mass Cheering Championship on October 31st where they will be compete against the winners of Merrimack Valley, Greater Boston and North Shore League. At the Eastern Mass Competition the teams are required to place 1st or 2nd to advance to the New England Qualifier. The ultimate goal for both teams is to qualify for Nationals and a trip to Nationals at Disney in Florida.

For all competitions please see coach or team parent about tickets, if you do not have a child on a cheer squad please see Corinne about tickets. At most competitions they are sold at the door first come first serve.
