Snack Bar Workers - NEW PROCESS TO HELP US ALL
ATTENTION:
There are a couple big changes at the RHS Booster Club Snack Bar this year:
1. Teams will receive 10% of the sales from their events
2. Students are eligible to work, and can receive SSL credit if there is at least one adult supervising their work.
3. The AD on duty will open the Snack Bar for the parent volunteers – a Booster Club officer does not need to be present for a team to open for their event.
4. We want all volunteers, adult or student to sign up using this

Soccer Specific Sign-up for ALL JV and Varsity Teams
It is important for people to sign up early so we can see where we have gaps and recruit more help from Booster Club officers and other parents from the general RHS community. People often say they are coming but don’t officially sign up or simply show up at the event (which is wonderful – we love the help), however it would help the Snack Bar organizers’ blood pressures if we knew ahead of time how many volunteers we have! :)
If you have never worked or organized the snack before email us and we would be happy to provide training. We would like to train and orient a couple parents for each sport to the workings of the Snack Bar equipment and some general procedures prior to their team’s first home game.

Rockville High School Women’s Soccer Summer Work-Out Schedule
Tuesday July 6th – Thursday August 12th
Every Tuesday and Thursday
Flower Valley Elementary School
6:00-7:30 pm
Although these work-outs are not mandatory, they will be extremely beneficial for individual and team improvement. These sessions will consist of running/working- out/and playing soccer.
I would LOVE to see the entire Wood MS team working out with the returning RHS players. I will be there along with the RHS JV coach, Tucker Schrumm.

Tryouts and practices during the season for both teams will hopefully be at the Bauer Rec. Center…practices will run from 3-5 Monday through Friday …the regular season schedule doesn’t come out until early August…
Physicals:
All girls must bring an up-to-date physical in order to tryout. Physicals are acceptable for one calendar year. Getting a physical completed during the summer is beneficial because it lasts for three sports seasons.

State Playoffs - Girls home, Boys travel - both v South Carrol
As in almost all sports every team makes the state playoffs. The top 4 teams in each class and region are seeded #1-#4. All other teams are randomly seeded from #5 on to the end. Higher seeded teams host lower seeded teams throughout the playoffs. Rockville teams will both receive a random seed that could result in 0,1 or 2 home games at the end of the week. Watch this space for more details as the draws are released Monday night 10/26/2009.

Six of Rockville's seven wins have been 1-0 victories during a season in which it has scored 10 goals and allowed 10 goals.
