Jack Kalls base clearing double in the first inning of game 2 Saturday at Alumni field helped give the Rockets a comfortable 6-0 lead against Manakto after 1 inning of play, however, Mankato countered the very next inning with 4 runs of their own to close the gap 6-4, but that was it, as Thomas Mulvey shut them down the rest of the way pitching a complete 5 inning game as the Rockets would 10 run the Scarlets 14-4 and take game two. West won game one.
