Rockets advance with 12-4 victory over Faribault Monday
Thr Rockets are heading to Red Wing. JM was victorious Monday as they beat the Falcons 12-4 at Alumni field. The win puts JM in the final four which will start Thursday in Red Wing. Ryan Lakin got the win pitching 6 innings with Janek Walker closing it out in the 7th. The Rockets scored their runs in the first and 5th innings putting 6 up in each inning.

ROCKETS BEAT CENTURY 2-0 THURSDAY EVENING
The Rockets played host to Rochester Century Thursday night at Alumni Field. It was a beautiful evening for baseball and a very nice crowd on hand to take in what turned out to be a very good baseball game. Not until the bottom of the 6th inning would there be a run scored. Gavin Sanwick doubled, Ryan Lakin then stepped up to the plate and tripled to the left center with Sanwick scoring the games first run. Jack Kall would then lace a single to right field giving the Rockets their second run of the game. Ryan Lakin was strong on the mound as well only allowing 5 hits and no runs.The Rockets shut down Century in the top of the 7th for the win. Jake Kirsch lead the Rockets with 2 hits. Next up the Rockets travel to Albert Lea Friday afternoon.

John Marshall hosted Duluth East Saturday morning at Alumni Field. The Rockets dropped the non-conference game 13-2 in 6 innings.

The Rockets got a big win in a big way Friday night hosting the Huskies from Owatonna. It took extra innings to get it done, not until the 10th would the Rockets score the games only run. Jack Kall would score off of an Alex Brady single to left field to gain their 4th win of the season. Matt Broman was solid on the mound pitching 9 scoreless and hitless innings.

Lakin-Broman lead Rockets to 3rd straight win
The Rockets picked up their 3rd straight win Thursday night beating Faribault 7-3. Matt Broman pitched a complete 7 innings for the Rockets striking out 6 and walking only 2. The Falcons held a 2-1 lead up to the 5th inning until Ryan Lakin broke it open in the bottom of the 5th with a bases clearing double. The Rockets added 3 more runs to push the lead to 7-2. The Falcons added one more run in the 7th but would not be enough as the Rockets celebrate their 3rd win on the young season.
