7 Tips for Lacrosse Success
7 Tips for success
1. Study. Ultimate success on the lacrosse field will not come without success in the classroom. Just remember, low grades will keep you off of the lacrosse field. Schoolwork comes first.

2. Nutrition. Eat well. Limit the sweets (soft drink, candy, etc). Reduce the fatty foods. Fruits and vegetables are the way to go.

3. Drink plenty of fluids (not soft drinks), especially before athletic events. Stay away from soft drinks before sporting events. Soft drinks are loaded with sugar and will slow you down. Drink water before, after and during sporting events.

4. Stay active. Avoid sitting in front of video games all day.

5. Be a good sportsman. Respect your teammates and opponents.

6. Practice, practice, practice. Just get your stick and a ball and practice what you leared from your coaches. Find a wall, find a friend.

7. See a High School or college game for yourself. There are ample opportunities to do so.
